The food was served fresh and tasted good. I ate the fresh cut fries with the malted vinegar. It was great! Two others in our party had the two different chicken sandwiches. Both were good. The service was friendly and fast.

I love eating here when my man Roman is working! But last week there was giant Croatian man and I only say he is Croatian because he told me he was 17 times. He was very load and scary I thought oh my what if this man fell off the stool he could really damage the floor or the basement or any man who happened next to him. Any way Great place!

Excellent old ethnic neighborhood bar atmosphere. I've been going there since it was on Lakeshore boulevard. The burgers have always been the best.
It's a nice bar on the inside. However, they over hype the burgers. They are average at best. Also, they use electronic measurers for the liquor.

Authentic and revered neighborhood bar with the best burgers in town. The new owners have refreshed the interior to make it warmer and more comfy but kept the familiar favorites. The soups are surprisingly great - and homemade. I tried the Friday fish fry, which was an ample portion with fries and slaw, and the fries were the same, except less greasy (win!). Great vibe and jukebox filled with great classic rock and a mini bowling alley game (yes. It gets loud!).Try the Big Guy if you fondly remember Big Boy, or The Works Burger. Take out available. Wheelchair accessible.
