Sold out in the middle of the afternoon but their hours say open til 4pm
I went and purchase a jumbo and a regular gyro.I asked for extra veggies on the jumbo which it did not come with. The meat was very greasy and after I ate it.Me and my daughter kept going to the bathroom. So something wasn't right with the Gyro meat ,.This is my first time visiting , i spent thirty five dollars, which is too much to spend. And have a bad reaction after eating . It was definitely not as i expected i only ate not even half and threw the rest in the garbage and then my daughter called today and says she tried to eat the rest of hers and still going to the bathroom. So she threw hers away a waste of money

rarely leave negative reviews, but this sandwich was terrible The filling tasted old and bland, with a strange aftertaste that made it almost inedible. and the meat was questionable at best-chewy and flavorless. Honestly, l've had better sandwiches from a gas station. For the price, I expected something I never seen gyros as chunk not thin cut it's like size of lamb chunk but this was the exact opposite. Definitely not worth ordering again. We bought six sandwiches and we came from Chicago because we heard Steve gyros make best gyros but unfortunately we were very disappointed never ever again and if you want to clean your stomach try one of this sandwich sorry to say that but this the truth

Gyro was very disappointing , chopped bits of burnt, dry meat, first time since the pandemic. Not the same, but if you sell gyros anywhere it should be consistent and definitely not the lunch meat gyro crap and this was worse that that.Get it together the coolness of getting the famous gyro at Westside and being on TV is gone.Slice meat not chucks of dry, burnt mess.Do better because you know it

I come here whenever I am in Cleveland and get a gyro. Just finished mine and it is always consistently good. The staff is always nice as long as you are nice. The most generous helping of meat I've ever had on a gyro. Keep doing what you're doing.

Alright gyros, person at the counter really doesn't want to be there, and she'll let you know it.

The nostalgia of going to the Market with my parents on Saturday morning and getting this gyro was all I could think of this morning. I was so disappointed. The quality of the food has changed so drastically. That sauce is NOT tziki sauce. Its like a much cheaper thicker thousand island concoction 🤢🤢 the tomatoes were definitely going bad and the lettuce was something the rabbits wouldn't even eat. I'm sad about this food 😢

Not what it used to be. This was the best spot for gyros. Unfortunately that's not the case anymore. The gyros were no where near as good as they used to be and it had been awhile since I'd been to Steve's Gyro. The taste was off on the meat and seemed way too garlicy and the cucumber sauce is now tan not white. It kind of looked like thousand island dressing. The vegetables(lettuce, onions, tomatoes) were not fresh and they barely existed on the gyros. Above all else the price for 1 gyro is now a whopping $14 for a regular and $17 for a super(extra gyro meat). At these prices and for what I got in terms of quality and quantity it's simply not worth spending that kind of money on a gyro that is at best sub par. It was nice while it lasted but sadly I will not be going to Steve's gyros anymore.
Steve I don’t know what happened to your recipe.. this was horrible.. burnt ends.. totally unacceptable.. Nicko’s winning.. I use to put my money up for you.. I so can’t believe this.. #nastywork

Went for a gyro the meat was delicious but the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were NOT fresh at all I also did not care for the sauce don't think I would go back
Drove all the way here for them to be closed during their posted hours.
We drive a hour and change to go to Steve's because it is the best we have found other then one spot in Columbus tucked off of broad on the Mexican side. Now that is the best.
But I'm Cleveland this is the best to me.
Great size portion of dry meat(gyro meat is suppose to be dry, it uses extremely lean meats) the sauce is tangy and pairs well(actual sauce is tangy not that white stuff) and goes good with the meat.
Service is just fine. Don't know what people want. A kiss and hug with it? Hand shake an hour conversation? Y'all need to stop thinking everyone should bow to you.
Anyways lady was nice. Food was made and handed to us and nice day was given. What more do you want?
No where to sti? So stand and eat or go to your vehicle.
Y'all to soft and bougie these days. I miss the gruff get it done Cleveland folks of my childhood. To soft anymore. Can't even stand to eat lol.
I recommend ordering one and getting the extra bread and a fork and making two out of one of you are not a big eater.
One is perfect to split between a couple of kids or a light eating couple.
But a great place and will probably stop by there tomorrow when I am in town for work. Never miss a chance to stop.
