Went there for the R&B brunch on Saturday to find the place dark and no one was there. I was even running late and still didn’t see anyone. I didn’t receive a email or call about it not being open. Nothing was said!
Was invited to come here for Brunch for a birthday party. When i got there the place was close. They didn’t connect the person who made the reservation to let them know anything. 0/10 would not recommend

This was a nice..but we were looking for more of a cafe than a lounge. So it was a little loud for us to hold a conversation.
I ordered the chicken and waffles. But the cook didn't want to make waffles so they substituted fries. I thought I'd get fried chicken but they were chicken strips that were thin and overcooked. Another person at the table ordered wings and they were cooked well, juicy, and tasty. Don't know that I'd go back unless I was looking for more of a bar/lounge

This place is not it. Hair in food, Samantha at the bar is rude, fruit flies everywhere. They are in a unique location but the service was very slow during our visit. Upstairs, someone was having a party, so I’m guessing that’s why it was slow. Parking can be tough to figure out, and it was difficult to find the entrance on time. A sign pointing to the door would be very helpful.
I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was decent, but when I tried to order another, the waitress was extremely busy, so I went to the bar myself. It was the worst Old Fashioned I’ve ever had—I legit don’t know what I was drinking. Despite these issues, I especially loved the Turkey Burger. If you’re looking for a dining experience, Sunset Kitchen has potential but be aware of these points.
Also let people smoke weed inside

Tanisha, our server, was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We had a large party and she was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. She is truly the reason for this high rating.
Unfortunately, the food itself fell short. The shrimp and grits completely lacked flavor—both people who ordered them said it was the blandest version they’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs were clearly premade and overheated, which left them very overcooked. Even after requesting them to be remade, one order was still missing cheese, and the kitchen simply threw cold cheese on top before sending it back out.
The restaurant could definitely improve the quality and preparation of its food. However, thanks to Tanisha’s exceptional service, our overall experience was still enjoyable. She made sure we were taken care of every step of the way, and for that we are very grateful.

The restaurant was closed but OpenTable took our reservation and required a credit card. Nothing on OpenTable or the website indicated the place was under renovation. We were a party of 9 and had to find somewhere else to go which was tough last minute.
I came to this restaurant for the first time for my birthday and to try brunch and it was VERY underwhelming. The restaurant is pretty and the waitress I had was nice but the food was super slow. i ordered a togo meal before the rest of my party arrived and their food arrived before the to go meal. I also ordered a salad that was the smallest i’ve ever seen for $10. When my food came out which i ordered before anyone else’s it was terrible AND it came out last. my boyfriend only ordered wings and he said they weren’t cooked hard enough. It was just a terrible experience I sent my food back and had to go somewhere else and get a good meal.

Portion sizes are so small
The food was really good. We came for brunch and had the shrimp and grit, catfish and grits, seafood eggrolls. The fish was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The grits and cajun gravey was so good. The seafood eggrolls were good but I would have like more peppers. Good music, good vibes, and nice decor. Staff was friendly.

Cute decor, good food, so called MANAGER IS TRASH. They act like they are bothered, if there is a a mistake they don’t acknowledge there mishap or offer an apologize. Not friendly at all. Won’t be back. There were people in our group who never got food.

They made my reservation for the wrong time , then we was finally seated they told us we had an hour to eat because someone else reserved the area they sat us in. Some of the members of our party never got the food. When we asked to speak to the manager the manager never apologized for sitting us someone else area, they never apologized for people never Receiving there food, they never apologized for our server who NEVER CAME TO OUR TABLE AFTER SHE DELIVERED WATER! THE EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE!!!! They said it’s the owner policy but the owner was no where in sight!
