UH Main Campus...I would like to share some feedback regarding the cafeteria, especially for employees who work long hours and depend on these meals during their shifts.
Over the weekends, the same exact food items are served on both Saturday and Sunday with very little variety. As healthcare workers, we spend our time caring for patients—so it’s discouraging to have limited and repetitive food options, especially when the food is weighed and paid for item by item.
Most recently, the breakfast sausages that were served were extremely overcooked and burnt (photo attached). When the issue was addressed, the response given was simply that “they take longer to cook,” which does not justify the presentation or quality.
We’re not expecting anything extravagant—just decent meals that reflect the hard work staff gives every day. Having better variety on weekends and ensuring food is cooked properly would make a big difference in staff morale and overall professionalism of the cafeteria.

I just went here for the atmosphere I had an appointment for uh food pantry so while I waited I just wanted to definitely eat lunch so I warmed up my lunch from home

Best Hospital Cafeteria in Cleveland or University Circle. Fresh In-House Sushi Chef Creations are to Die For, Grill, and Themed/Ethnic Buffet Selections are always Hot, and Upscale Bakery Selections and Desert Items are as good as any Specialty Bakery in Town. Run by Sodexo. Einstein Brothers Bagels and Gourmet Coffee Bar Adjacent.

Whenever I have to come to the Ahuja Hospital, Beachwood. I always make time for lunch or coffee at the Duvin Atrium Cafe, the food is fresh, great flavour, good value for money and the space is calm, with lots of light and you can enjoy your meal without a rush.

So, this 8oz chili and hotdog cost 7 bucks!!!! They're times when I feel like I'm being overcharged for food. I understand cost of things have gone up, but I question if I'm honestly being charged for what I order/get. Update... so I'm eating my lunch in the cafeteria area. For years, they have birds flying around the indoor area. Well, I will no.longer be eating in the cafeteria area... I found bird poop on two of the chairs. I don't care how often you clean the table/chairs, which, since covid19 restrictions have been lifted, have been less frequent, I will never eat in that area again. Remove the birds.
Very relaxing place to take a break from hospitalization.
