⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Six-Star Review of The Roaming Biscuit – Cleveland, OH
Tucked away off East 36th and Superior, behind some weathered yellow doors on the second floor, lies Cleveland’s best-kept breakfast secret: The Roaming Biscuit. It might take a little hunting to find, but just follow the scent of buttery biscuits and sizzling sausage—you’ll know you’re close. Once you do find it, prepare to have your breakfast standards forever changed.
Let’s talk about The Humble. I had it with brisket—moist, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Then I tried it with the blueberry sausage and just… wow. Sweet, savory, perfectly balanced—it was unlike anything I’ve had before. Seriously, who knew blueberry sausage could be this life-changing?
My dad, a notoriously picky eater, went with The OG with bacon. He cleaned his sleeve and started talking about his next visit before we even left the building. That’s a win in itself.
What really stands out here is the care. These aren’t assembly-line biscuits. You can tell each one is handcrafted, made-to-order, and filled with love. It’s comfort food done at the highest level.
Special shoutout to Shaundra (hope I spelled that right!)—she was an absolute gem. Warm, welcoming, and full of helpful info. Even the fellow patrons in line were friendly, creating this communal, “we’re all in on the secret” vibe.
And the prices? More than fair for the thick, hearty biscuit sandwiches that arrive lovingly wrapped in brown paper sleeves. Worth every penny.
Whether you’re a local or driving in from an hour away, The Roaming Biscuit is more than worth the trip. I’ll be back. You should go. Honestly? I wish I could give it seven stars.

Every time I travel I set out to find the best breakfast sandwich in a given area—I can say with certainty that this is the best breakfast sandwich in Cleveland, and one of the best I’ve ever had.
The sandwich was loaded, the home fries were flavorful, and the strawberry lemonade was absolutely heavenly. Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent! Old school conversation and kindness that would make a regular out of anyone. I also recommend grabbing a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon bar for the road, absolutely melt in your mouth deliciousness.

My uncle and I dropped in for a breakfast sandwich because it popped up as a nearby place. It's tucked away in an office building, but the parking situation isn't bad. We found it and the proprietors were so welcoming and friendly. I ordered the biscuit du jour, which was a brisket, egg and cheese and he had a bacon, egg and cheese. The biscuit was so yummy and fresh, the brisket was cooked and seasoned perfectly and it all came together like a chef's kiss! We also had a couple of the cookies, which were some of the best I've had in my life. I didn't have coffee, but my uncle did and he said it was good and strong. I definitely recommend grabbing a quick breakfast here. I plan to again!
