So the food was excellent; the staff friendly and polite; and our waiter (William): brilliant. The day-early Valentine’ Day dinner, before seeing “Parade” at Playhouse Square, went off without a hitch. February in the CLE makes outings a challenge but we parked at the PH lot on Chester, cut through the building and double-timed it down Euclid to Ninth St. Greeted at the hotel door, greeted at the restaurant entrance, and then seated in 60 seconds. For 100 minutes we had fun! Our waiter William was entertaining and knowledgeable and spot on with recommendations. Red Snapper with shrimp, and Lobster Ravioli followed well made salads and were both excellent. We actually had time to breathe before heading east for the show. A “very well done” and “We will be back” for Centro!

Though we canceled our reservation at Centro as the kitchen was offering a limited menu due to repairs needed to the ventilation system, we did stop in for a night cap the bartender Lisa and manager Gerard were lovely. Gerard helped me select a wine and gave us desserts on the house since we werent able to have our anniversary dinner there. Gerard is definitely in his element and very knowledgeable about wine. They gave us a lovely end to a lovely anniversary evening.

Everything here was exceptional! The food , the service, and the atmosphere. The kitchen and staff went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy and even prepared GF bread to accompany my salad. Definitely recommend and hope to return soon

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Lisa’s customer service and attention to detail was legendary. Had the salmon dish, medium rare and seared to perfection. I have a severe allergy and she and the kitchen team made sure that I didn’t have any issues with the food. Not only did they make sure my entree was correct, they went above and beyond and made me a dessert without my allergens. Could not be happier with The Centro, will be back for sure!
