Just ordered a cowboy cut strip with mashed and asparagus. The owner called me immediately to let me know they were out of mashed potatoes and made me roasted potatoes instead. I was impressed at the time he took to keep me informed and the initiative to make an alternative side. My meal was ready at the time specified and unfortunately, didn't even make it on the drive home which is why there are no photos. The strip was juicy cooked medium rare as I asked and asparagus...
In town on a trip and found this place on the map, looked at the menu and gave it a shot. Food beyond my expectations. Got a couple of strip steak dinners. Steaks were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes and broccoli sides were both delicious. Next time I’m in the area I would definitely stop again!
Incredible! Visiting from out of town and randomly picked The Chopping Block as it was nearby. Could not be happier that we did! Steak was cooked to perfection! Sides were wonderful as well. Chef/owner was very friendly. Hardly a wait at all especially high quality meal! Highly recommend and WILL return if we are ever back in the area.
