The food was amazing. We got there right after opening and it was very quiet, everything was fresh. Our waiter didn't write a single thing down and never missed anything anyways, the starters (Charcuteria and fish dip) were incredible, and our mains (lamb, cod, and chicken) were some of the best flavors were ever experienced. The lamb fell apart with delicious soft ess, so did the cod, and the chicken was beautifully moist with a bold sauce. Definitely recommended for wonderful ambience and top tier foods.

We enjoyed our dinner at Friar's Table. The food was very good overall. Only the roasted eggplant and basil dissapointed - it was cold, tough, and not very appetizing. Everything else was quite good and portion size was generous. Service was attentive and we didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. Our only minor complaint is that the server should make an effort clear empty plates; they accumulated on our small 2-top to the point it was hard to find any room left for movement.

I love the concept of the restaurant. It is hit and miss on the good. I ordered the mushroom and sausage pasta dish that was so salty as it cooled it was inedible. Our waitress could be more service oriented.. ie remove plates, follow thru.. Neat environment, accessible to theater, loved the mushroom tart.

Even though it was marked on Open Table our reso was for my mom's 60th, when my parents arrived they were sat in a bar area, not the main dining. They said the server was nice, but must have been new because they couldn't answer any of parents question about the menu. Parents thought the food was good, but not worth the price. They said they are glad they tried it, but probably wouldn't return.

Went after a show at the Hanna Theatre. We had reservations, arrived early, but were promptly seated. Overall service experience was very good, unfortunately the food was, at best average. Potato Leak soup that was on special was particularly bland, no flavor at all. My wife's chicken breast was very dry. My pork remoulade was tender but lacked. Best item served was the bean salad. Crunchy and flavorful. Not sure I would go back there again.

The food was delicious! I had roasted butternut squash soup. A cup was a generous portion. I also had the Immaculata salad, the ingredients were fresh and the mini salad was plenty! My companion had Vegetarian lasagna and found it tasty. The portion size was also generous. For dessert we shared the pumpkin bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream. The portion was huge and plenty to share. It was so good! Our server was prompt, attentive and courteous. I would definitely go back!

Several delicious cocktails, my favorite the Chrysanthemum. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Squash soup was good, very seasonal. Osso buco was simple, tasty and very filling.

What a great spot for dinner downtown! Our server was very professional but friendly. The food was simple but delicious. Love the little carafes of wine. We saw at least one Franciscan brother on site. We will definitely go back for dinner before the theater!
Confusing... no hostess so we had to search for someone to seat us? Wait staff was polite but not very helpful. It seemed like everyone was new and just doing the basics. Food was absolutely delicious and prices reasonable so i would try again....
