We stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn on 9/8/2023 and 9/9/2023. Checking out on 9/10/23. I booked and paid $396.98 for the room on Priceline. When we checked in on 9/8/23 the clerk asked for my card. I asked if he was charging me for the $50 incidentals charge and he said yes. When I got back home on 9/10/23, I noticed that this hotel charged me $50, $100, and $158.79! I’m not sure how they charged me 3 separate times. That sounds like the clerk clearly knew he was doing something wrong! I called on Monday morning and was told I had to wait and speak with a female manager on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning I spoke to the person and she said she was issuing a full refund. It is now NOVEMBER and Hilton Garden Inn Mayfield/East Cleveland still hasn’t returned my money! Today I spoke with Antonio who once again told me the refund was processed and I’ll receive it in 7-10 business days. I wouldn’t stay here again if the room was free.

I am extremely disappointed with my trip here on April 1st- 2nd. I was coming 8 hours by train and knew I would be there after check-in. I was told to use the app and that it would be fine, the front desk was alerted. I was not told that I needed to choose a time on the app. I was told "no worries, see you when you get in." I was even asked to choose a floor. When I arrived at 4 I was told my reservation was cancelled and I'd have to make a new one for the next day. I was told there was no note from day staff. The front desk blamed the auditing system and I was told I could wait in the lobby until the manager came in at 8. I wasn't offered even a pillow or blanket. The next morning when I got up I informed the front desk of what happened and was told the second charge would be refunded. I asked for breakfast to be comped. I was given a voucher, but I had to ask. Your entire staff needs to learn the word hospitality and also to communicate with each other. You did your best to ruin my trip.

Limited food choices. Coffee is old and taste bad. Breakfast was okay, expensive for what I received especially when I paid for a luxury suite. And I thought my breakfast was included. Only food for dinner that was decent was the burger.

Have a restaurant.com certificate. Arrived at the restaurant and it is closed due to Covid. Someone should let Restaurant.com and/or Google know because it shows as open in both online resources.

Even though it says online that the restaurant is open, it is actually not; not for takeout, delivery, or dining.

My husband and I went to this restaurant in the past and years ago, there was a better selection of foods to choose from. I checked the internet and it said that with a pasta dish, you get a salad as a side dish. For other entrees, you get two sides....it says on the internet and in the Entertainment Book (Coupon book for the Cleveland area). Well, the waitress, who was very pleasant, said that as far as getting a salad as a side dish, the menu changed a year and half ago. Well, why wasn't this changed for the current Entertainment Book for this year and why is it still listed the same way on the internet (which could be changed easily via a computer) instead of having customers coming in and expecting a side dish or salad to be a part of the meal and not an extra charge? We ended up getting the salad (a small salad with some greens, 2 small cherry tomatoes, some croutons, etc...FOR $5.00 EACH!!! This was a real rip-off. We also got squiggly pasta with a cheesy sauce with a very minimal amount of vegetables (this was supposed to be a pasta primavera)....it was OK, not great. To drink, only water. We got a few rolls...very average. The price of the pasta dish alone was listed in our coupon book as $16.00, but it had changed to $18.00....which in itself is a rip-off. Pasta is a very cheap dish to make and to put a few vegetables that you can barely see mixed in it....NEVER AGAIN!!!! We will never go back to this place. I have a hunch that not very many people come to this restaurant....it is off the beaten path and there are quite a few restaurants in the area that you can get a meal for a lot cheaper and be satisfied.
