Been coming here for years and always held them in high regard but, my most recent experience takes the cake. We decided to order them on Uber Eats for Easter and the effort they put into our larger order cannot go unnoticed. They labeled everything good and everything was well packaged and made with care. Can’t reccomend this place enough. Excellent job guys and thanks for making Easter dinner a little easier this year!

Very busy on Easter but was able to create a reservation online which was a big plus. Good food and atmosphere. Arrived 10 minutes early and were seated right away. Waitress was great as well very responsive.

We celebrated Easter a day early as a family here and it was amazing. Our food was great and our server, Alyssa E., was very knowledgeable and personable. Having a great server always makes an experience better!

The food was underwhelming except for the rosemary sea salt fries which were excellent. Service was friendly and good. The noise level was so high we couldn't talk to each other without yelling at our 4 top. I realize I is a bar but between the music volume and the conversation volume it was challenging.

Service and cocktails were very good. Husband had the Walleye Plater and really liked the bisque that came with it. Love that they offer (very good) “bread and butter” as an appetizer. Many options for small plates and “extras” allowed me to piece-together a custom dinner of smaller portions that fit my eating style — love that!

A friend and I dined in. The French fries were the best part of the meal-hot and crispy and nicely seasoned. I got the Ramen noodle bowl. Instead of thinly sliced pork, it had two boneless pork chops that were very dry. I had to try to cut them with a knife and fork. My friends lamb burger had BBQ sauce and cheese like a wannabe cheeseburger. I got a fish and chips to go. When I got home, I noticed that the four holes in the top of the takeout box were not pushed open so the steam accumulated and everything was wet and soggy. The steam holes are there for a reason.

Yesterday I had my baby sprinkle in the new back room of South Side and everything was absolute perfection. I cannot say enough about Kim’s wonderful service. She was extremely attentive and kind! All the food came out together and in a timely manner and was DELICIOUS! I had brought a cake I had expected to cut myself and Kim took it back to the kitchen where they cut it for us, and the staff individually plated each piece and served it to my guests as well as boxed up all the leftovers for me. They all went above and beyond! I will definitely be back and recommending South Side to friends and family. Thanks you guys!

Updating my review. This place use to have great food. Today, not so much. The food was not good. Lobster bisque had no lobster. It was a puree. Tacos were basic and shrimp had little to no seasoning. The Brussel sprouts would have been good with extra sauce. We asked for extra and it took 20 minutes to get it and that was only after going to the bar to ask for the 2nd time. By the time we received it, food was cold. I informed our waitress of the issue, and she took no accountability for forgetting to get it or for not checking on us. Additionally, she walked past us multiple times, tried to call her, and she ignored me. The manager was nice about it and handled the food situation, but the rudeness of the waitress was unacceptable.
the food here was good, but the service and drinks were not. i went on a sunday morning with three friends at about 11:30. it was about 11:45 before we even saw our server, 12:15 by the time she came and got our order (first time we saw her, she was just coming with water), and 12:35 by the time the food came out. while we waited for food, we had drinks - two of which had to be sent back because 0 of 4 people liked them and thought they tasted wildly different from how they were described on the menu. they just weren't good at all, very weird taste and aftertaste to them both, despite being totally different drinks. the waitress apologized for the drinks and took them off the bill. paid the bill, left, then saw a charge for nearly $20 more than what the receipt said! absolutely insane. so now i have to take time out of my day to dispute that charge with the bank. like i said, the food was good. the vibes were good. nice place, cute interior. but very frazzled waiter who made mistake after mistake (not coming by often enough, not clearing table of the empty dishes, incorrectly charging, etc.) and appeared to be either under the influence or just very lackadaisical. probably won't ever return to this place. much better places in town to get the same for less money and less mistakes!

We came to this place b/c it has a 4.3 rating. Which is really high yall. The service was good. But this was some of the worst food I have ever had. I am not sure how a restaurant is able to screw up a quesadilla but they did. It was the eggs or egg product they used, it was just disgusting. The saving grace for this place is the wings & tater tots. I would not recommend coming here for “brunch” or lunch. Maybe just drinks and bar food. But the drinks weren’t good either.
