Just dug into my rigatoni I ordered thru door dash and it’s one of the best pastas I’ve ever had! The sauce and meatballs were amazing and the rigatoni was cooked perfectly. All at a very reasonable price.

Boyfriend is Chicago native said it was the best Italian sandwiches he has had since leaving Illinois. Cherry pie is amazing, I would eat a tub of their pesto mayo; it’s liquid gold.

Great Italian specialties. The sandwich’s were delicious! I had the Roast beef sandwich , my husband had the Italian. We also had the Wedding Soup, what a treat!!! Authentic and flavorful! The Maritozzi’s were the most delicious sweet I have had in a long time! The staff is super friendly, they treated me like family! Definitely coming back here again soon!

Friendly owner. He made our sandwiches. In the dining room there is a picture of him in front of a bus in Italy on his first day of culinary school.

Came here from the East side to surprise my husband . He loves Italian Deli. Tripi did not disappoint. Friendly service as soon as we walked in, great food and a cute dinning area. We had the Papa Tony, Pasta dinner with meatballs and the Wedding soup. All delicious! Our favorite was the Papa Tony.

I always order the Italian at Herb and Twine down the street, but I popped into Tripi today and holy cow. I am a convert. Get the Papa Tony with everything, you won’t regret it. Probably the best giardiniera I’ve ever had, and the bread has a perfect crunch. I will be back - often.

I've tried their Spicy Italian, Italian Beef, and the Tuscan Turkey sandwiches and they're all very good. All breads made in-house, and the focaccia on the turkey with pesto goes together perfectly.

I'd also recommend the pizzelles (made by the owner's mom) and especially the maritozzi (that pastry with a slice down the center and filled with cream).

I had the famous Italian sub and it was great, old school flavor with all the toppings. Friendly and welcoming service. I will be back to try my other old school favorites that they serve.

Generally the service is better than the food, which says more about the service than the food. The food is good and worth it, but it feels like it's missing a special something something. Almost there, and I'll keep going back to try. They're always working on new stuff.
