This place was a last minute decision and let me tell you, it was the best decision we made today! The food was amazing! I can completely understand how they have received the awards they have! If you make the decision to come here, get the Cuban! Life eaten many Cuban sandwiches and that was the best by far! Also, you will never go wrong with the Trifongo Rice bowl!! I will happily drive back up here from Akron when I get a craving for the food!

Great spot to have nearby. I’ve tried two of the gourmet burgers. They each have a nice twist on them that you won’t find even at trendy burger joints. I think the meat quality is good too.
But you likely aren’t going for the burgers. Try the birria tacos, Cuban, or their family style dishes. Food is high quality and authentic. They’re mostly take out. But it would be nice if they accommodated their dine in guests a little more. There’s no public bathroom but there are a few tables to sit and eat.
They have gluten free options which is convenient for me.

Smallest portions of flan ($5) and tres leches ($6.50) I've ever seen (water bottle for scale). The flan was also way too cakey for real flan. Disappointing. 28 minute wait time for 2 sandwiches and fries. No access to the drink fountain, but water was served in bottles instead of a free water cup like I expected so that was $3 i didn't expect to see on the bill. No public restrooms available. The grilled chicken sandwich and pernil clasico sandwich were both really good considering everything else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed an online order (paid online at the time of the order). Purposely went after the time it said the order would be ready, as they seem to run behind per previous orders. Went in to pick up the order... the young woman at the front went to get my order then came back and said "looks like they didn't get your ticket" and didn't say anything else. I had to ask for more information and she rudely said ... well we can refund you or it'll be ready in 10 minutes. More than 20 minutes goes by and I was like hey on second thought, if it's not ready I'll take the refund. She got very hostile and said she couldn't refund me because the manager/owners weren't in. They'd do it tomorrow? This didn't seem legit ... so I questined a bit and she got even ruder and called me racist? unclear why that would even be a thing? I ordered food, showed up, it wasn't even close to being started, was met with a rude person at the front of the house, then was insulted with that? Um okay. She then disappeared not to be seen again. The man working in the back handed me a cell phone and said there was an owner on the phone. I was met with a woman who was extremely rude and condescening. She told me my food was in fact ready (it wasn't) and that I'd be wasting it and they'd have to throw it away if I didn't take it? This is all too much at this point. I want a refund and need to get the hell out of this place. So it looks like it's partially ready, so I say just give me the food... and I need to leave now! The guy in the back says we stopped making all of your food b/c our manger told us to? This is all so weird now... a prank, bad dream... nope... I'm still here waiting for food, a refund, I do not even know or care at this point. I got the vibe from the lady on the phone that I in fact would not have gotten a refund if I left. All this BS because we thought we'd order dinner from this place? So many places to order from and we pick this; bad service, insults, and not great food... Also, very classy that 3 men were right outside the entrance smoking pot! To each his own. Evenn they were even getting annoyed because their order wasn't ready and they were there when I pulled up! I finally get my food and get free of this place. Here's the food review: Dry carne asada in the tacos, not worth the $20, mediocre rice, three yucca fries, the street corn was now just corn with lots of sauce - very eh; not corn on the cob like it used to be. The Cuban and quesadilla were fine (still seemed lesser quality than a year or so ago). The food wasn't worth the money or aggravation ... I do not recommend this place, will not be back, and will definitely share my visit here.I was handed another owner's phone number, whom I called, and he tried to smooth it over a bit.. but I still got the vibe he really didn't care all that much! Hard pass on this place; it seems to have declined a lot. However, if you enjoy being insulted and subpar food, by all means, check it out! Happy New Year! Love your "standard" response...
