Visiting the markets and popped in here for lunch. It was really busy and couldn’t get a seat, but we left our number and walked the market for a bit. They called us and had us seated in no time. The food was fresh and tasty. I noticed a few patrons with a Bloody Mary and ordered one and wasn’t disappointed. The service from our server was friendly, fast, efficient and she was fun and entertaining. It’s crowded, chaotic, noisy in a good way and everyone was enjoying themselves. Very enjoyable experience.

Historic cafe in a historic only remaining old school market district. Wife and I had an awesome breakfast, I ordered the pierogis and kielbasa off the lunch menu. One of the highlights of our trip to Cleveland. Thank you WE Market Cafe!

Second time here, visiting from out of town. The first time last year, I had such an incredible breakfast, the kielbasa hash - potatoes and fresh kielbasa (homemade locally and sourced right from the market), in a hollandaisse sauce, with 2 perfectly cooked poached eggs perched atop. Cleveland on a plate. So good we came again this year and same dish, another home run. Wife had Huevos Rancheros. Amazing. So friendly, great service. 10 out of 10. After breakfast we immediately went into the market and bought a bunch of the kielbasa to take home!

I stopped by Westside market as this is all well-known location in Cleveland. One of the servers, an older gentleman, was hilarious. I wish I had caught his name. The historic component of this location is what really drew me in.However, I was not impressed with the taste of the food, the quality of how it was cooked, or the presentation of the restaurant. Looking at the floors and the walls they seemed very dirty– I understand that this location is older however, there is a difference between old and dirt. Seeing that made it very difficult for me to get past. I ended up leaving before even finishing my meal.

I'm so into old-fashioned diners, and this one is perfect. Has historic black and white photos of the market decorating the walls. Great dinner grub (perogies and kielbasa), breakfast served all day. Chatting up the staff makes you wish for the days when strangers weren't strangers, just a new friend. I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Breakfast items and eggsParking: Market lot behind the market, nominal fee

This is an iconic Cleveland landmark, a place we have been going to for 25 years to buy our bread, meats, cheeses, pasta, fruits, vegetables and the best bratwurst sandwich on a Saturday morning. Take the time and explore this unique building full of local Business owners.

I've been to the WSM Cafe on many occasions, and the food is always decent. I love that it's a small, independently owned staple of Cleveland. One of the best things on the menu is the chicken paprikash if they're offering it during the season. I don't think it's always offered.Breakfast is what you would expect from any diner, and always a delight. Here's the one thing I'm going to ding them on... the smell. We've always been seated (not by choice), right by the entrance to the Market and the bathrooms. It has never NOT smelled like a weird, sewer smell with a somewhat mixed chemical smell. I'm not sure this is something WSM Cafe can control, it could be more of an issue with the building, but I would hope WSM Cafe could do something more to make it less unpleasant on the nostrils. If you go, ask to be seated on the opposite side of the restaurant!
