We got tuna and scallops appetizers, lamb and duck for dinner, and flourless chocolate cake and apple tart for dessert. The food was amazing. The service was awesome. Our waiter Nic was delightful and or was a pleasure to be served by him. I appreciate the history of the restaurant, building and decor.
Super good in every way, really you cannot find a place like this anywhere else. Truly good service- if you have an empty water glass longer than 30 seconds it would be a shock, the staff is attentive! Plus the food- the reason you'll be there in the first place- is just top notch. I don't know of another restaurant where you can get beef wellington, let alone prepared so well as White Oaks chefs do it. Every time we have been there, it's the same great quality...
Love to spend an evening at White Oaks. Like going back in time for a nice old-fashioned dinner. Love the tray with celery sticks, carrot sticks and olives accompanied by a dish of cottage cheese. My husband had the shrimp with bow tie pasta, and I had the duck, both delish. Never disappointed with the service and watching the wildlife while enjoying your meal is always a special treat.
