Bland food :( We had the Friday Tavern fish sandwich (lightly battered cod). Came on a fantastic bun, but the fish was mushy, bland, and just squeezed out in all directions when you tried to take a bite. The coleslaw side was SO bland we had to add our Tartar sauce and chopped extra pickles into it to get any flavor. Tasted like it was made with milk rather than mayo. Shame because they’re in a perfect spot off the bike path, and it’s a very nice-looking restaurant.

The service is always good here .. however the strip steak lacked seasoning it was very rubbery this time around and I could detect there was a lot of meat glue used by the lack of actual edible pieces on what appeared to be a large piece of meat ..

Classic diner food in a classic atmosphere at reasonable prices.
Food, service and atmosphere was very underwhelming. Our table still had crumbs fronm not being wiped properly. I ordered the fried chicken sandwhich for $12.30 and fries are not included (crazy). The chicken had no seasoning what so ever and was very greasy. I would recommend this place for children and picky eaters. If you are looking forward to enjoying good food with flavor save yourself a trip and go elsewhere.

My 1st time. Will not be going back service was poor. We were seated promptly,but waited along time for cold food. Waitress did not check on us when we asked for refills on coffee.she did &told us to drink slow. We sent food back she partially competed the bill. No manager ever came out to see why we sent food back. I will not go back.
