“I visited the store today. I got 5 macarons with my fiancé. The clerk was really nice and told us about their ingredients and offerings. The macarons are excellent and so satisfying to eat. Real eggs, milk and butter!

I was also informed on Wednesday they run a promotion for 4 cupcakes/ macarons for $15.

“My mother and I were finishing lunch at 1928 Public House and she wanted to stop at a bakery on the way home, thankfully a Google search let us know about Catlin Family Confections!! The girl working was so helpful answering all our questions as we were practically drooling over all the choices!! I picked up a pepperoni bread, a mini cheesecake canoli, a PB brownie and a pistachio cake. Everything I have tried so far has been fantastic!! We will be stopping again for sure!! 😊“

“We had our first taste of a Festive Tree Cake as leftovers from friends—and the small pieces several days old were fabulous! They showed us pictures of the cakes and described how they were made. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice and the Black Forest. The cakes are marvelous, almost too lovely to cut into. The flavors did not disappoint.We have sent several cakes to friends, all of whom have had the same reaction as ours. “I’d been drooling over GSB’s pastries on Facebook for months like a sugar-starved stalker, and I finally found myself in the area—hallelujah. The second I walked in, I was hit with a wave of sugary air and a warm hello that felt like a hug from a cinnamon bun. There were so many treats I wanted to adopt, but the second I saw the giant, chocolate-covered cream puff, it basically yelled, “Take me to your husband!” Mission accepted. I brought it home and casually told my husband, “Hey, I picked up a little pastry for you.” Hours later, he opened the bag and said—verbatim—“Holy #%?!”. This thing was an absolute unit. At least six inches tall, overflowing with fresh whipped cream like it was showing off. We both took a bite and just stared at each other like we’d seen pastry heaven. It was rich, cloud-like, and somehow not overly sweet. My husband, a self-proclaimed cream puff connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever had. And trust me, the man has puff experience. Only one thought: throw in a middle pastry layer, Big Mac-style. Not because it needs it, but because my jaw would appreciate the break from climbing Mt. Cream Puff.“

“Awesome little donut shop! The lady behind the counter (Who I believe was the owner) gave my sister and I each a free cinnamon sugar donut to try while we debated what kind of donuts we wanted. The donuts are all the same mix, and they too the donuts with whatever frostings and toppings in front of you. Ending up paying about $20 for a dozen. Highly recommend if you want some nice small donuts and you're by the Cleveland area :)“
