“Usually friendly service, I'm not sure if the waitress was having an off day but I sat for 15 minutes before I was even asked if I was waiting on anyone or wanted a drink. I ordered an appetizer and it took 20 minutes. 3 couples who came in after me have already been served. I told her I wanted to order and she disappeared. I asked on the status of my appetizer when she reappeared and she said that takes 10 minutes. I said okay, it was at least 15 minutes ago. So far I've been here at least 35 minutes and have just ordered my pizza at 2:08pm. My pizza didn't arrive until 2:32 . The food is good but the service certainly doesn't match. I think in the future we will frequent another location.“

“The food is very good and the people are very nice. The buffet is very good. I also like to order off of the menu sometimes where I can get the food a little bit spicier than what the buffet offers, which is mild, but I prefer medium spice.“

“Really nice place. I had the baked penne- it was fabulous! It was ready in no time. I can't believe how quickly they prepared it. I can't imagine it was already made-to-order since I requested it without mushrooms. For my salad I had the cajun dressing which is a must-try. The bread rolls were great. I was there during happy hour, so the beer price was good. For dessert, wow, I had the cookies and cream- talk about a real treat. Scarlett was my server and she was so great- very attentive and got me what I needed. I left very satisfied and looking forward to another visit! And keep up the great work, Scarlett!“

“One of the worst dining experience I ever had. The noise from the kitchen was so loud we couldn't even talk. My wife's fish was way over cooked my pork chop was tough that I did not take it home. The price was way to high. I eat out 3or4 times a week and always at finer restaurants I would not ever go back.“

“First time going here and definitely not disappointed. I went in and ordered a Hungry Jack to go. Homefries were so good, eggs cooked perfect, French toast was delicious, my side of thick toast was great. An excellent breakfast that was affordable. I think my server was Jess, she was awesome, I hope I get her next time I go back. Great service and great food (thank the cook).“

“UPDATE 2025: New & Much Larger Restaurant Now! They've got room for those who love to eat in & enjoy savoring their delish food made fresh from the kitchen. Make sure you get some of those steamed dumplings that come with a duck sauce & a spicy horseradish mustard sauce that is so, so good. They have a wonderful oolong tea & I love that as well.
By far, the best fried rice in the county! Every dish I’ve had has been delicious. From Walnut Chicken, Chicken Egg Foo Young to Mu Shu Pork & Pepper Steak it’s all amazing.!!!!! This is our family favorite pick for over a decade now & we love it!

“We were a party of 9, hungry, thirsty and with a few picky eaters. Ashlee was an excellent waitress, answering our questions, quickly bringing out our appetizers and refilling our drinks efficiently. On top of that she maintained a sunny disposition. We also had a take out which we took home hot and ready to serve. We have always had good service and great food on our visits and Ashlee did your establishment proud.“

The other waitress (didn't catch her name) was also super friendly as well. The food was over the top delightful and wonderful. Our eldest son had a burger and onion rings (his fav). Our youngest son had the Southwest burger and onion rings. My husband had the 4 piece chicken dinner, with mashed potatoes 🥔. I had the chicken parmigiana with salad was steller and we loved it. The chicken galore was one of my favorites so so good! The broad street salad was also amazing, best salad I’ve had in a while! Kid-friendliness: My kids love sushi, but there are other fantastic options if your kids haven't developed a taste for it yet. And the water bubble wall divider is too much fun. Make sure you ask for a booth on that wall!“

The food is fresh, fast, and the meats are cooked hibachi style right in front of the customer, caramelizing them with a high heat char. As others have said, when the cook is done preparing your meal, they'll offer you a ladle of extra teriyaki sauce. The answer to this question is always yes.Now, on to the details and why I gave it 4/5 instead of a solid 5.Let's start with the cashier. Every time I've come here, the same cashier has been working, and she always seems annoyed that a customer has shown up. She can come off a bit snippy and impatient and has cut me off in the middle of speaking many times. I'm not sure what her deal is, or if it's just me, but I don't appreciate being made to feel like I'm bothering the cashier just by walking up to order.A word to the wise: as far as I can tell, the chicken is dark meat, and can sometimes not be trimmed as well as it should be. Almost every order has a few inedible or extremely fatty pieces, and I've come across several small pieces of bone and connective tissue over the many times I've eaten here. I don't know if they break down the meat in house or if it's shipped ready to cook, so I can't really fault them for it, but it's still a little off-putting.Despite these two issues, I do actually really enjoy Sarku Japan and it's pretty much the only place I go when I'm craving some Asian or teriyaki goodness. I highly recommend it. If you happen to be perusing the mall or just in the Boardman area, give it a try.“

Because there is no longer Golden Corral in Boardman and Hometown Buffet in Niles and Ponderosa Steakhouse on Elm Road in Warren Ohio. And now so customers won't have to go to the Golden Corral in Hermitage Pennsylvania to get American food? American food like Real Yams Mac, and Cheese, Baked Chicken, White Rice, Broccoli Cauliflower, Carrots, Cornbread Dressing and Mashed Potatoes and gravy.“

“A must have for me with any meal at Antone’s is the Monkey Salad….I love, love, love this salad. Next, if I’m not getting the crazy delicious lasagna or some other pasta dish, then it’s a Knuckle sammie. It’s a lovely eatery and I really like the decor inside as well. Beautiful plated meals but for sure come with an appetite or else you are taking a doggie bag home. They serve up big portions for sure.

Parking: Parking is in the plaza and it is plentiful.
