Used to be a huge fan, then the Fred Lee sexual assault allegations came to light. I can't go back there, knowing what I know now. Check the Columbus Alive, or the Columbus Dispatch, for more information. Anyone involved with covering up for him needs to be terminated and the brewery needs to be held responsible for his terrible actions. There is other beer, free from sexual assault, in Columbus. Go to one of the many other excellent breweries like Seventh Son, Wolf's Ridge, Elevator, or Somewhere in Particular. Don't support Actual.

Wanted to go out for a night of music, and got interested when the band lineup showed up in a list of suggested events. So I was game. It took about a few loops of the parking lot to find Actual, but I found it because of the food truck. Interesting place with several pinball machines, with a n*** aesthetic. I tried 3 of their brews throughout the evening. The play space was raw, but that suited the music well, and walking through the brewery to get there. I also had a tasty buffalo chicken sandwich from the food truck. I had a pretty good evening.

Nice, friendly location. We went for Trivia night and enjoyed playing. It's a little difficult to find, I suggest you use your GPS.

Awesome! I can't remember his name, but talked beer and beer styles with the bartender. Got the brewery tour and saw the canning line, talked with one of the brewers, Zac, and everyone just seemed to enjoy beer. That's what I look for when I visit a brewpub. Atmosphere is relaxing, and plenty of arcade and pinball games if that's your thing as well. Will be back!

We used to love coming to Actual. It seemed welcoming and fun for many years. This year was different. We were having a great time dancing in the back bar area. It was great until we were trying to cash out. My wife was hit on by someone that was apparently one of "their guys." We were trying to cash out, and after she declined his advances, all of the male bartenders refused to make eye contact or wait on us, to the point of waiting on guys behind us. It was very uncomfortable and embarrassing. We chose Actual instead of going downtown because we had known it to be a welcoming atmosphere and it's not that anymore. I won't patronize the Clintonville location once it opens, which pains me because I was looking forward to it.
