This is the best Ethiopian food in Columbus and the staff is super friendly. I have introduced so many people to Ethiopian food at this restaurant. The only disappointment is that the coffee is just like normal American drip coffee and not like Ethiopian coffee I've had elsewhere. But the food here makes it 5-star alone and the staff is great. The Kitfo is the best menu item - I recommend getting it raw, the traditional way.
I was excited to take my friend to eat here after reading all of the great reviews. I tried calling several times to make a reservation for a table on Friday night but no one ever answered the phone. We went anyway and we're saddened to discover the placed was closed. Another person rolled up wanting to eat there who was equally bummed to discover it closed. He recommended Lalibela despite it being across town.
