Permanently closed as of early July 2024.

Sad because they had good drinks.

Great atmosphere. Chef Darryl did it again. The staff was fun and friendly. My meal was supreme. Will be back soon.

We stopped in for our first time to try it out and grab some grub before having a girls night out.
We walked in 615pm, waited 20 minutes to find out their POS system was down and server apologized. We were understanding and patient. But…… We then continued to wait way too long still.
Food came out before the drinks (bread & butter, fries, flatbread). The flatbread had fresh tasting ingredients but the crust itself was much like eating crunchy cardboard, way too hard. The bread & butter was black, dried out, and butter super melted. Someone thought it was appropriate enough to serve to us. Server didn’t automatically try to take it away when he stopped back either. Thankfully he did take it back when we asked and we weren’t charged (compare my pic to others, you’ll understand). The truffle fries were the clear winner of the three, even though those too were rather pale and undercooked compared to pics we’ve seen. Most very limp and mushy.
Drinks were tasty. No complaints there, except server never came back to attempt to get another round. And after being there for an HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES for one drink and messed up food, we left. But, hadn’t seen our server in forever so we had to ask host to chase down our bill.
But, I had to use the restroom first. Large and spacious single stalls (though I wish it was more than one). Well styled. However the trash was already overflowing onto the floor despite them almost just opening. I don’t believe there was hand soap, I could be wrong. It sprayed out of the bottle and smelled/lathered much more like mouthwash… the floor was sticky by the sink, and the sink handles were broken/barely worked.
I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there.
The fact we waited SO long for food and they couldn’t have at least comped some fries or something was also kind of disappointing.

Absolutely darling space that invites the hint of a local speakeasy.
Cocktails are made to order with bite!

My wife, some friends, and I have dined here on several occasions. This place is very special. The food is a fun adventure with its smaller plates, and the atmosphere is exquisite, with live music and tasteful decorating throughout. We love it!

Another Columbus Monthly’s best new restaurants for 2024. Labeled a gin joint, Adelaide’s delivers much more.

There is a jazz room with a bar and live music. There is your regular indoor table and outdoor patio dining. You have a library sort of room with comfortable leather chairs. The place uses classic black and modern motif all throughout (including their restrooms) evoking bygone eras of drinking and jazz joints.

They have a large selection of gins. Ordered a custom gin and tonic using Japanese Roku and Yuzu tonic. Also, ordered their Getaway Car cocktail using the no proof gin. Both cocktails were very good.

They offer a very creative and tasteful menu of small and large bites. The pricing is reasonable especially for the larger portions as they are shareable for at least two people. We enjoyed all of the fares we ordered.

Service was quick on a weekday night. Street parking available front and back of building. The co-owners/hosts were very gracious and quite proud showing us their restaurant. Overall, a well-deserved vote as a best new restaurant here in Columbus.

Very disappointing experience here. Simple cocktails proved to be a severe challenge and the staff was very disorganized, mixing up food orders and the patrons directing the staff on what to do. Simple is hard here and will pass next time this place is recommended as a choice. Do not waste your time.

Food is terrific, and I love the atmosphere. We ate inside, but there's great outdoor options. Our server Said was excellent.

Vegetarian options: For a limited menu, a nice selection for vegetarians

Get a drink now (they are delicious) but hurry because this place is a joke and I don’t see it being opened for much longer. Completely ruined my large party evening by having little to no food and no ac. It was awful. They have fake bait and switch advertising on their IG and website. The owner is full of himself. I work in the restaurant industry so it’s hard for me to rate anyone negatively at all but this was just not right how they treated my group of 12.

Food was decent, drink was great, but the server forgot about us completely! Food came 10+ minutes before our signature drinks. The server never came back to check on us. Thankful we had enough cash to cover the tab. We left it on the table and walked out. So sad because this place could be a real gem.

We had reservations 2 months in advance for a big birthday. They called us 30 minutes ahead of the reso to tell us they had a "limited menu" which ended up being one burger and some apps due to first "kitchen maintenence" and then "kitchen staffing" and then "supply chain" - different answers from every person. No vegetarian-friendly unless you want plain noodles. The food that they had was great, just not what we had wanted for that special night. The hvac was broken and our private room was insanely hot all night; despite being told the air was turned down, nothing ever came out of the vents in our room, it was stifling and the drinks were immediately room temp. The manager did comp the drinks for the birthday girl but overall was not the experience we wanted or had planned on for 2 months leading up to it. They did tell us they had just released their spring menu this week so they simply weren't prepared, but their spring menu was released on their insta on 4/2, over a month ago. If we'd been given any notice about the menu within the 2 months we'd booked in advance, we would have made other plans. This is a great place to go for a drink at the bar with live music but not for celebrations or group dinners. Overall disappointing and you don't get do-overs for birthdays like this.

I've been here a few times now and have to say that not only is this a great date night spot, it's also very accommodating to families, especially if you come early. We brought our 4 year old on Mother's Day at 6pm and there were only a few tables that were occupied. They don't have a kid's menu but they had a stack of children's books that they brought to the table and our son was more than happy with the food on the regular menu. The drinks are awesome (even if you aren't a gin fan - there's plenty of other choices!). The food is delicious. The service has been great - super friendly. The music is nice with a live band oftentimes playing in the bar area and then the music is piped through the sound system for everyone to enjoy (but not so loud that you can't hold a good conversation as well). This is definitely a new regular spot for us!

It's nice to see another unique little cocktail spot like this in town. Atmosphere was pretty cool, though the rooms you can reserve for private events seemed more interesting than the main dining area. They had a really good martini and great cocktails in general. Food was pretty good as well. Nothing that I would rave crazily about (though I only tried a bit of it), but still quite tasty and interesting.

Wow... had a GREAT data night here last weekend, launch of the new summer menu, had the mussels and my date had the pasta primavera. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and went well with the signature cocktails. We LOVED the jazz experience and the service was outstanding. Can't wait to come back - our new hot spot!
