Great meal! I got a vegetarian combo, with jollof rice, plantains, and Afra spice sauce. Nice level of spice and excellent value.

Only weird thing was how I was charged for tap water. Not many places do that.

Visited Friday around 6:15 p.m. and had a disappointing experience. The employee at the counter had poor customer service and a rude attitude. He addressed me as “sir” even though my pronouns are she/her and that was very uncomfortable and disrespectful. My order was wrong, the food was cold, and the jerk chicken had almost no meat mostly bones, and what little meat there was was burnt. When the order was remade, the employee was muttering under his breath, which was very unprofessional. Disappointed because I previously had a good experience here.

Delicious and hearty comfort food with generous portions. I had the (surprisingly giant slice of) salmon, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Relieved to learn that both Bariis and Jollof Rice rice are vegetarian. I chose Bariis to avoid too much spice, it was savory and satisfying. The veggie mix was mildly spicy and perfect over the rice. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant!

Today was our first time trying Afra Grill and everyone agreed that it was the best meals we’ve had from a restaurant in as long as we can remember. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was filling. An incredible value for a great meal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The food was fine; however, I ordered a chicken sandwich and roasted goat online and arrived after 30 minutes to pick it up, only to find that my order had not even been started. The lady behind the counter appeared confused and overwhelmed. I had a taxi waiting me outside, and I placed my order online just to to skip the line, so this was very disappointing.

Afra Grill was a pleasant surprise for me. The lamb was tender. Oxtail savory. The vegetables and beans seasoned to complimentary perfection.... and the plantains..... chefs Kiss.

Their Fantastic Sauce 🔥. If you're into Coconut drinks. Their have a special Life is Good drink. Esquite.

The owner was very kind to us.
