If someone walks in and only orders a sanbus why make them wait so long? You could’ve just grabbed it right as I ordered it it’s right next to the cash register it would’ve take 10 seconds. Any other time that’s what the nice lady does (and this is what makes sense) but this guy working today was so slow and acted clueless.

The head chef was willing to work with and modify the menu and sauces, as well as open early in order to prepare catering for my students who performed in our black history month assembly. His communication was professional and his responses timely and the food was a huge hit with our students. We have a diverse group of students and they all loved experiencing Afra Grill, both our African natives as well as our Americans, many of whom had no experience with African cuisine. We are so grateful for the service and for the new and familiar experiences as a capstone for our Black History Month!

UPDATE!!!!
They got the beans back and they have me back🥰
I don't know if it was due to public opinion but I'm glad they take their customers feedback into consideration 🙏🏾😊
They've also revamped their menu selection by adding more protein options such as Roasted Oxtail, Whole Tilapia, and more chicken options and more! They've also added more side and sandwich/wraps items like burritos, quesadilla and loaded fries. They are a must try cuisine. Promise you won't be disappointed😉👍🏾❤️

I absolutely love their food and the serving size is definitely worth the price. I definitely recommend!!! When I go I always get the Salmon w/Plantain, Jollof and Bariis Rice, corn, pinto beans, cucumber veggies and Afra fantastic Spicy Sauce & Afra fantastic Sauce. I am sad, however, that they no longer offer the beans. That really brought the meal together for me. I hope they return the beans soon because I don't prefer the meal w/out it. That's just a personal preference and has nothing to do w/the quality of the food, service and/or atmosphere....which are all great! I will return if and when the beans return🙏🏾😢

First time going to Afra Grill. The atmosphere was bright and clean. The workers were very patient in explaining the different dishes they offered. The price of the food was food. I would definitely recommend! I will return!

As an African and a first-time visitor, I must say that this restaurant was the worst African restaurant I’ve ever been to. The primary reason for this is the poor customer service. The woman who took my order was extremely rude and impatient. Instead of taking the time to help me understand the menu, which was quite extensive, and explain the options, the woman was in a rush to get my order in. This establishment is not a regular spot for authentic African cuisine. Their business model seems to be catering to non-Africans rather than Africans.

Really great food and value. Pure comfort food. Get a big plate of rice topped in delicious chicken (or whatever protein you prefer) and some veggies and just crrrrush it. You're going to be moving a little slow for a few hours, but it will be worth it. Absolutely delicious. The staff was also friendly and walked me through everything (pretty straightforward, I'm just a simpleton). The sauce was great too. I need a pint of that for my fridge. The atmosphere is very casual. Great place to grab lunch or dinner while you're in the area doing the whole consume shop consume thing.

Took forever for our food (around 45 min) when it was not busy and then once they started making our food, they didn’t have the ingredients of what we ordered. Not coming back

I've never had African food prior to this evening but I have to say the dishes from here were absolutely fantastic. Everything was delicious and the staff were all great. The portion sizes and prices are more than fair, I loved the chicken suqaar and I'd go out of my way any day of the week for more of the fufu with peanut soup. Will definitely be visiting again.

This place is awesome for the following reasons:
1. Great food for reasonable price.
2. Quiet atmosphere (or at least when I went there, it was).
3. The person there was really nice and polite.

Food is a bit pricy for what you get. Few different times in the past the AC was out. They have no fountain drink options.
