Absolutely one of the best experiences I have had dining in Columbus , German Village area, in the last two years.

Not only do the dishes have multiple flavors in each bite which every well chef inspired food place does, but the flavors fit the dish, and it's not what's expected when looking at it when it's sit down in front of you. Excellent Quality, flavors and presentation 5 stars.
However, the pleasantry & knowledge even the way the staff explains the dishes and makes you feel special is what separates this place from others. I sat at the bar and spoke to Alli (super friendly & informative) after about 5 minutes I realized I was going to let her pick my dishes; she knew every dish and ultimately made my AGNI experience one of the best I've had in central Ohio.
HIGHLY recommend , flavors of the sauces (no words can describe) nailed them
Service above and beyond!

Agni was one of the last stops on my farewell Columbus tour before moving to Colorado. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the staff are just all-around cool people you'd want to hang out with. Tiny details like welcome tea, takeaway chili oils, and a special hand-written card for me took the experience from a 10 to a 15. We had such a great time, left very full, and are grateful for all the attention to detail, passion, and hard work that went into the evening. Lastly—top marks for one of the best bathroom experiences in Columbus (iykyk).

Absolutely wonderful experience! From the start the hospitality was unmatched. We were greeted and offered a sample of ginger tea that was delicious, and they brought us a small cup more when we said we liked it so much. The hosts and servers were so incredibly knowledgeable about the food preparation, tasting notes, details about the origin of each dish, and answered any questions we had.

The pace of the meal was perfect. We didn’t feel overwhelmed that we had to eat quickly, but we also didn’t have to wait long between courses.

As for drinks, we do not drink alcohol, so we opted for the custom healthy soda. You choose if you would like it spicy, sweet, fruity, herbal, or tart. The bartender then makes you a custom drink! So special!! I chose tart and it was incredible, and my husband chose spicy and it was the perfect level of heat.

The food. Oh my goodness. I have never seen presentation as beautiful, and the layers of flavor were incredible. We went into the dinner mostly without knowing what would be served so we could be surprised.

Well worth the cost for a special celebration! We will definitely return.

It was my first time here and the entire experience was incredible. From staff, to the food, atmosphere, and the service was awesome. Parking is mostly street parking and they do reservations.

The food left us speechless and wanting more. The great thing about smaller bites, is that you get to try so many different things and flavors but be warned, you may want a big portion of some of the courses. It was mine and another person's birthday and the Agni team made it a bit more special with a card and candle for our dessert. It was very sweet!

My absolute favorite thing was that we didn't get to know what we were getting to eat until it came out and then, at the end. It was fun and a little surprise every time. Each course was curated beautifully, displayed gorgeously, and had such high quality. I was so impressed with the entire dining experience.
I love that chef Avishar incorporated his upbringing, family, and identity in each course and detail. It made the experience truly more special.

Staff was so nice, kind, and accommodating. Everyone was so fun to talk to, get to know, and treated us so well. They made the experience 100% more enjoyable.

The restaurant itself was warm, cozy, and inviting. Even though the courses and price tag are a bit higher, everyone felt very approachable and inviting. It was a beautiful place to be.

I highly recommend if you can make it here! Everything was beautiful, delicious, and so incredibly fun and cool.

Visited this restaurant tonight and was overall satisfied but with a few notable caveats. First off, the ambiance and service were exceptional—truly deserving of the top tier of the city. Staff were extremely attentive with drinks and describtions, and the environment was welcoming and comfortable.

In terms of the food, it certainly stands out compared to other offerings in Columbus, with some notably creative dishes. However, for a price point of $145 per person, expectations naturally run high, and unfortunately, a few dishes missed the mark significantly. The Har chow, shrimp dumplings had an unpleasant fishy, gamey taste, which should not occur in a restaurant of this caliber—a considerable misstep. Apparently, it had fois gras, shrimp, and bamboo in the filling, and from the taste, the ingrediants could have went bad or was processed incorrectly.

On the bright side, the variety of Southeast Asian dishes, including Malaysian, Indian, and Thai selections, was impressive. My personal favorites were the pani puri and the Thai pasta, both incredibly authentic and flavorful. In fact, the Malaysian dishes here surpassed even those I've tasted in Malaysia.

The main area of disappointment was with the Chinese dishes—particularly the fish, bao, fries, and dumplings—which were overly Americanized and lacked authenticity. Being raised in Shanghai, perhaps I am a bit more discerning when it comes to these dishes, but even accounting for this, they were subpar at best when compared to the Chinese restaurant in Columbus.

Another minor gripe was the repetitive use of curry flavors in the Thai and Malaysian offerings. I really like the noodles, scallop, rice dishes, and skewers, and they are excellent dishes on their own, but when combined in a long tasting menus, the repetition of the same curry profile became overwhelming and heavy on the palate.

In summary, while the restaurant excels in service and environment, and many of the dishes are creative and authentic, certain food quality issues and repetition of flavors detract from the overall experience, especially given the premium pricing.

Incredible. Just absolutely incredible, amazing and delicious. This experience was like no other dining experience for me. The food was absolute perfection and the wine pairing was flawless. I’ve been a fan of Avishar’s since Top Chef. And I’m so glad I finally got to taste his food. He is a true gift to both the culinary world and to Columbus. We came here for my birthday and it’s a memory I’ll never forget. And this just raised the bar so high for birthdays to come.

High expectations but totally disappointed. Absolutely not worth the money spent about $200 a person and there were three of us.

Yes, presentation and service were good. Food was below mediocre.

FNL-first and last.

One of the most fun dining experiences I’ve had to date! The genuine enthusiasm and kind service from the staff was some of the best I’ve ever had and played a big part in making this meal so Memorable. Our server Jennie and our Sommeliers were all so spectacular and knowledgeable, and the big table at the back with lots of space and a small divider in the middle are the best seats in the house.
The starting Snack plate is one of my favorites ever, the McDonald’s inspiration was taken to the Max and set such a high bar for the rest of this meal that I wasn’t expecting. The Scallop and the Dumpling are both paired with great sauces, the Caesar Chatt Froid is a unique creation, and the Secret Plantain was my favorite of the desserts.
Chef Avishar is a mastermind and paired with his sister restaurant Joya’s, Columbus continues to have an ever expanding and truly awesome food scene for all to enjoy.

My wife and I scheduled a reservation for our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess with warm smiles and warm tea. We were quickly taken back to our table where we soon meet with our server, Brock.

Brock was incredibly friendly, personable, and delightful as we discussed our experience and opinions on the food and environment. He always made us feel comfortable, explained anything we had questions on, and laughed along to our bad jokes.

The other servers who brought different courses were also very friendly. Each one told us what they loved about the dish they were serving, listened to any feedback we had, and we're excited to hear how much we enjoyed it.

Finally, we met JJ, the CDC of Agni. He was very attentive, excited to tell us about his time at Agni, and was kind enough to show us the kitchen. He explained their process, introduced us to several members of staff, and even took my email so I could learn the recipes to attempt to recreate them at home.

We were very lucky to have found Agni and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the team for all their hard work in making our anniversary special. We look forward to our next meal with Agni.

Amazing food and great drink program. So much food, spanning multiple cultures, all of it top quality. Drinks were flavorful and unique, wines were paired well. I think I discovered new emotions after eating here.

This place already has five stars so I'll keep it straightforward. It's the staff. I had them write down their names so I could shout out literally everyone who touched out table. To Lauren who found a way to seat us when there weren't any seats available because it was out last chance to eat there. To Manu who made me the best dealer's choice drink at the bar. To Alli for being a twin star *no water club. To Andy for holding down the bar in every way. To Matt and Danny for explaining the food with so much passion. This staff is absolutely amazing, and well-deserving of making Agni a bucket list location in Columbus.

We travel a lot, and we seek out great dining experiences. Wonderful to have a world class restaurant right here in Columbus. My wife and I shared our wedding anniversary at Agni, and it was fantastic. The staff are absolutely amazing. The food was fine poetry, each course was delicious. Show up hungry, you get ample food. There is an intangible here that is hard to express. The happy yet intense demeanor and professionalism of the staff, their excellent knowledge of the menu....there is something great going on here, and you can feel it radiate in the staff. Note, my wife is veg, I'm carnivore, we were both thrilled.
