My grown son brought me here. He thinks it is the best sushi in Columbus and one of his favorite restaurants. I thought it was one of the 3 best sushi restaurants I had ever been to and I have been to them from Hawaii to San Francisco to Berlin. We got the boat for 2-3 plus saki, so spent more than average, but tried a broad range of sushi and sashimi. All really good--best eel I ever had.

Place was crowded but we had no problem talking

The best sushi I've had in Columbus hands DOWN! It tasted so fresh and good, I dream of Akai Hana. Came here for my 20th birthday a couple years ago and everything we ordered was so good and lived up to my expectations.

The best sushi I have ever had and I’ve had lots! Sara gave us the best service even though we were sat in the weird room. Will be back for sure!

My husband and I usually ordered from 1126 when we wanted sushi, but since they closed, we've been looking for a new go-to spot. We tried the sushi boat for 2–3 people here, and honestly, it barely fed the two of us. The quality of the fish was just okay, not what you'd expect at this price point. For a $100 order, we expected at least some miso soup or side salads, but nothing extra was included. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and overpriced. It was maybe worth $50, not $100.

Food is good.
My complaint is that the waitress didn't let me sit at whichever table I like, even though that table was empty until I almost finished my meal. You'll lose more customers if you keep up!

Had an exquisite dinner at Akai Hana. The king salmon nigiri truly melted in my mouth and was the single best bite. Service was absolutely perfect and so attentive. We visited on a Saturday night around 8pm and didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend the sushi and the entrees, will have to come back and try more things on the extensive menu.
