We had dinner here on a Monday night with another couple and it was our first time eating at Alqueria Farmhouse Kitchen. The gentleman server was mediocre. He interrupted our conversation far too many times and had the the attitude that his time was more important than ours. It's a Monday night, your not that busy! The main courses were hit or miss. I had a duck entrée which featured lots of delicious veggie sides. However, the duck breast was so tough I could barely cut through it with the meat knife I was given and only had a couple of bites. Two members of the party both had a pasta entrée which was not visually appealing (it looked like a sea of beige), but they said the flavor was fine. I ordered the crème brulee for dessert and instead of it coming to the table as a creamy custard, it had been left in the broiler way too long to caramelize the sugar top and was a soupy mess. Overall, the meals were a bit underwhelming and overpriced, I doubt I will return. This is too bad because we love the interior of the restaurant.

Dining at Alqueira was the experience that I’ve been searching for but not finding amongst the restaurants who seem to be trying too hard. The locally sourced and changing menu is prepared and presented in simple ways yet delivers deep and delicious flavors across all their dishes. We’ll be back the next time we visit Columbus.

The food was delicious and service was great! The kitchen kindly split soup, salad and entree for us. (Cheddar Broccoli Soup, Arugula Salad, and Bread & Butter pictured.)

Food was superb from the brussel sprouts to the butternut squash ravioli and fried chicken. The atmosphere was very cool in the old building. They make the most of the space. Only issue is that it gets a little loud but worth it.

I'll give the food here 3 stars. One out of the 4 of us was realllllly happy with her food. The rest of us thought it was good, but not incredible. I think most people would give it a 5 star, but we have high standards. LolThe service is great and the atmosphere is cute.

I have to give this place five stars on the service alone, and the food was just as great! We were here for restaurant week, and while I thought I had made the reservation for Friday night, we arrived and it had actually been made for Saturday. We were so apologetic and were going to leave, but the staff literally made space for us that night anyways! So kind and the food was incredible.

Had an absolutely amazing date here! I had been wanting to try the buttermilk fried chicken for awhile and it didn’t disappoint. It was fried and seasoned perfectly. Service was great and our server was not only very friendly but also helpful. All the food is super fresh. I highly recommend!Parking: Depending on when you go, parking can be a pain since it is all paid street parking.

Some meals are simply flawless. This was one of those meals. From the capable, attentive service, to the comfortable dining room, to the creative and comforting cuisine, Alqueria delivered. We began with the Brussels sprouts, pork belly, and bread and butter. Each bite of the brussels sprouts with the blue cheese and apricot was delightful. The rich cheese, bitter brussels, and sweet apricot complement each other in a way I never would have imagined. Our favorite, though, was the pork belly. The creative accompaniments tasted reminiscent of a southern chow chow. The flavor brought back memories of home and elevated the pork belly itself to another level. We continued with the duck confit gnocchi. Having this dish was like eating a lovely French stew by a fireplace. Too full for dessert, we were completely satisfied by our Alqueria experience.

I had high hopes for Alqueria but unfortunately the food missed the mark. Two of us in our small group ordered a burger cooked medium and it was served well done. I also didn't like the pimento cheese on the burger. It is a unique choice but I didn't think that was a good combination at all. I really didn't think it was worth the price. It felt overpriced at $19. Also the bread and butter starter seemed overpriced for what it was. The service was okay, but it did seemed rushed. We arrived within an hour or so of closing so that would probably explain why the service felt rushed. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. Not sure I'd be back in the future. Very difficult to find parking nearby if you're not familiar with the area. Street parking may require you to download the parking app.

Great spot for a nice dinner. Service was fantastic. Handcrafted cocktails were tasty, especially during happy hour. Appetizers were amazing, the pork belly was unbelievable. Entrees were big portions and the desserts were a fantastic way to end the meal. Overall great experience, fresh ingredients, and a decent price!

I've been wanting to try Alqueria for a while - like the vibe of the place and food concept. However, the food was disappointing-- overly salty both of our mains. The service was great and atmosphere is welcoming. Missed on the food.May have to try it again... but hesitant.

Alqueria Farmhouse Kitchen is wonderful. My colleague and I were in Columbus for 2 nights and came here because the reviews were so good. We loved it! The service was awesome! We shared a cheese plate and 3 starters and all were delicious! Highly recommend
