I am from out of town and my family and I live the food here. It has a hole in the wall vibe. But that usually allows for the best food. Best gyros in town!! We will be back

I have been an Apollo's lover for over 20 years. However, since the ownership changed to the son, the quality and service has completely changed. They no longer answer the phone, and when I was in there to place an order face to face, my order was completely wrong when I got home. I ordered beef/lamb got chicken that was filled with gristle and bones. Spent $45 on 2 salads and 3 gyros. Everyone was disappointed with their food. Their chicken definitely isn't the same, the portions are smaller, and the service is terrible. I was in there on a Thursday around lunch time, and the place was empty. Anyone that knows OSU campus during school days, and has been around for a while, knows that place should have been packed. So sad to see the decline of an OSU campus institution. I wonder how the original owners (or parents) of the current owner feel about this shift in quality and service. Unfortunately, I will probably not return. I drove over 2 hours round trip to go there too. :(

Their regular gyros are excellent and have been enjoyed by all of my family and friends who've been introduced. Whether you're an OSU student, in-town for the night life, or just visiting, Apollo's Greek Kitchen is an excellent, affordable choice and I can't recommend their regular gyro enough (I highly-recommend it be ordered "regular"; I highly-recommend resisting the urge to customize this menu item)!The staff is always notable friendly and fast. Anytime I've ordered in-person or via DoorDash, the quality of Apollo's food has been consistently excellent.I am not affiliated with the restaurant and typically don't leave reviews, but their food is so good that it has to be shared with others!Order a "regular gyro" today! You'll see that no embellishments were made!- Tyler, Tech By TradeKid-friendliness: Their regular gyros are not spicy and have a great and appropriate flavor that has been enjoyed by many family and friends with even the most-sensitive of taste-buds.

I just moved back to Ohio after 20 years on the west coast. I was SO happy to see that Apollo's is still in business! I could not find ANY gyro on the west coast to compare with the taste & quality of Apollo's! They are simply THE BEST! Now, in my retirement, I can visit Apollo's and enjoy the wonderful memories of taking my boys for gyros when they were growing up! They told me when they think of Apollo's gyros, they too wish they could move back to Ohio!

Best gyros in town im tearing up thinking about how much I love this place. My stomach is grumbling so loud now. Please come here you won't regret it. They recently changed the fries, they used to be amazing and now they are ok, but the gyros are still unbelievable!!!!!

The falafel is soft, but the taste is mid. The service is really uncomfortable. One guy (owner?) yelling random things (today's rant was about stupid people) and one younger guy at the register whose eyes and smirk make me wish I wasn't a woman. The inside is run-down but could be okay enough to eat in if I didn't want to avoid being spoken to by the guys working there any further. My male friend assures me "they're just always like this," but I don't think that's an excuse. "The first time I walked in here with my friends, he screamed, 'F**K.'" Definitely not a place for the girlies or faint of heart.

If you've ever been to Apollo's, it is delightful to know that ONE THING still lives on campus! The Steak and Cheese is still on point, only not as greasy as it used to be. But still the good cut, classic flavor, and decent size you would expect. Same guy still owns it, and the TV is running soon as you walk in just like it's supposed to! Better atmosphere than the old one next to Subway, BW3, and **old** Skully's. But still the same joint you're hoping it might be!

Worst Service EverThe worker was very condescending and rude. He started cursing at me, everyone left the whole building because he was so out of control.
