A very welcoming atmosphere. Nice conversation and the food was great. I got a large plater and finished it without taking a break. We'll cook and prepared. Great service. Can wait to try the oxtails next.

Ava’s is one of the best Caribbean restaurants I’ve ever experienced. We were greeted by the owner who was extremely hospitable and friendly. The food was excellent — my wife and I both had the jerk chicken plates with traditional sides. I also sampled the oxtail which was delicious. AND, make sure you try one of their homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert!! We will definitely go back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Some of thee best food I’ve ever had! I drove an hour to visit this restaurant and she did not disappoint. The food and service were amazing. I got the oxtails with all the original sides plus festival and beef patties. It was like being back in the islands. I will absolutely be visiting again. This place is a gem!

The food here is amazing, but it's a little pricey. I've had the oxtails and the jerk chicken so far. The oxtails are by far my favorite and the jerk chicken was ohkay. I think I ended up getting the jerk chicken at the wrong time. There was little jerk flavor, but the plantains and corn bread made up for it when you mixed everything together in one bite. I'd still recommend coming here because it's that freakin good!!

If you're looking for a Jerk Chicken in Columbus, this is the place to be. The staff are very hard working and accommodating. Placed an order through Grubhub, for Pasta and Jerk chicken, but received the Rice/Cabbage/Chicken platter. Came to exchange the dish, but the staff let us have that entrée for free on top of making our pasta. Felt bad so I tipped them. Overall the flavors are really good but severely under-seasoned. Everything needed salt from the pasta, chicken, cabbage, rice and plantains. I know I can just add it myself, but thinking the foods would be much better if cooked with salt.

I've regularly eaten the oxtails, cabbage, rice and beans. Absolutely tasty. This time I tried the curry goat. Delicious! A large was plenty for 2.5 days , just me. I'll keep going because they are true to the craft & community.

I'm originally from New Jersey and it's been extremely hard to come by authenticity with Jamaican food and babyyy!!! This is IT!!! I tried the oxtail w/rice and peas and cabbage w/plantains..hands down top 5 best Jamaican spots!!!

I tried the Irish seamoss hibiscus for my beverage and let's just say..I'm literally omw up there as we speak to eat and drink the same thing, TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!!! They don't even open until 12 but, I'll be the first order of the day, lol! They're also very sweet people and don't give you an attitude if you ask for extra gravy 😂🤭.

I purchased the jerk chicken with collard greens, rice and homemade macaroni and cheese with beef patty and the food was very amazing!! It is fancy food and worth it. I highly recommend it for any Caribbean food fan. I can't wait to get some more very soon. Glad to have this restaurant near me. The service is very helpful and friendly. Great comfort food.

I ordered from this restaurant on Too Good To Go on Monday (the 16th) for pickup last night (the 17th) but my boyfriend picked up the order for us and all I have to say is that the food was absolutely delicious! On top of the food being amazing, the owner was super nice. If you’re looking for flavorful well done food this is the place to be. Thank you for loading our plates up because now we have so much more food than expected but in the best way possible!! This will definitely be a regular spot of ours, can’t wait to stop in again. ☺️🫶🏻
