I’ve been a regular since they first opened, always stopping by for something tasty. As the place grew and hired more staff, the quality seemed to change. The last time I visited, about two months ago, it seemed like they had a new cook — the greens were terrible, undercooked, and lacked seasoning, the worst I’ve ever had. I always go there and get me something. I been going there when they first open up. But as great and big they get. They hired more people. Last time I was there 2mos ago. I guess they had new cook. Because the greens was terrible. The worsts I ever had. Not all the way cook an no seasoning. It's was bad. The potatoes salad and Mac cheese didn't taste the same. I live to far to bring it back and they had close so couldn't call them. But the ribs was great like always....
This was the first time coming there to get food and I will say it was amazing. The young lady who took the order for my wife and I was a sweetheart. We ordered the brisket dinner with collard greens and Mac and cheese with cornbread. The brisket was damn good. Very favor full and moist, nothing dry about it. The Mac and cheese was really good. The greens were good, but I will say that I wish the meat was in the greens, like hammock or bacon.
