Beautiful, cozy, romantic location. Service was personal, prompt, and our waitress easily explained dishes to us. Food quality and portions are excellent. Food is so fresh, flavors blend in very thoughtful and unique dishes. It started pouring rain while we were enjoying dessert. What a lovely experience, we will be back and highly recommend.

I had the red wine braised beef short ribs. (See pic) Very tender but I'd get the rosemary grilled lamb chops. My friend had them and they were delicious. Those cannolis man oh man were sooooo good. Overall really good food and atmosphere. Sonni was our server and she was amazing. Would recommend to go at least once. I will be back for those lamb chops.

We did a date night here. Nice little place but a few things to note. Parking is a nightmare so splurge on the valet. But remember parking is a nightmare because of the city not the restaurant. The food was good it caught me off guard I wasn’t expecting it. Much better than most places in the area. The service was up there as well. Not overly attentive staff but they were just right. The atmosphere was ok. I used the bathroom and I think I got lost in the back of the house.Bottom line if you are in the area go. Remember do the valet and enjoy.

The host who greeted us last night was amazing. We came in out of town for the Arnold and I accidentally made our reservation for the night before. Although it was my mistake he got us in still. The food was fresh, and amazing. I typically only ever order anything with polenta at Italian restaurants but I'm glad I tried their smoked chicken carbonara. It was done so well! They even did substitutions for my boyfriends parents. Our waiter was polite and did okay not the warmest energy but he tried. He may have been newer. I would come back again.

What a hidden gem. My sisters and I came for a galentine’s/birthday celebration and were floored by how delicious the food was! Every dish we ordered was top notch. So flavorful, yet subtle. The ingredients really shine in each dish. Service was great, and our server was kind and knowledgeable. It’s an unassuming, cozy space with about 8 tables, tucked down a cobblestone street in a neighborhood. I can’t wait to come back here with my husband. One of my favorite dining experiences in recent memory.
Basi Italia is a small intimate spot tucked away in Victorian Village. The ambiance was lovely - very charming, cozy, and perfect for a date night. The service was excellent - our waitress was attentive & helpful. To start off we ordered a bottle of the Cetamura Chianti and the basi ceasar. The wine was great and the ceasar was fantastic! For my entree, I ordered the rigatoni salumeria. It was good but I wasn't overly impressed. My boyfriend ordered the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin which we both enjoyed.

I was able to get a reservation here around 8:00 PM on Saturday 02/17 (which surprised me because it was Valentine's Day weekend). We arrived and entered to find that the main part of the restaurant was about 10 tables in a small house. We were taken out around to the back patio which was totally covered for the winter months and heated in. The waitress came over after about 5 minutes and we ordered water and a bottle of wine. We got arancini to start, which were very good but nothing that made it stand out from other arancinis I have had. For our mains, I got the ricotta gnocchi. This was very good, but the star of the show was the vegetables instead of the gnocchi. The gnocchi lacked flavor and I found it okay. The vegetables were amazing and saved the dish for me. My boyfriend liked his food also. It was very expensive, and I have heard so much about this restaurant. I was slightly let down, but I don't know why. My expectations were probably too high. I liked it, but I'm not dying to come back. Glad I tried it!
Wonderful place for an intimate date night dinner. Service is spectacular. It is a limited menu, which I prefer. Pictured is my cod dinner, delicious, and a glass of pino.

Food was amazing very good tons of flavor everything I wanted. Service was good. The atmosphere was good but it’s a tight fit but not super tight the main negative I had was the place probably hasn’t had a refresh since it opened so the paint on the walls was dingy which makes are worry about the rest of the place in the back. I would totally go back and it was great for our group of 4 just honest opinion 5 stars are for exceptional which the food was
