I ordered Togo food and it was ok, the potstickers where good but the pad Thai was not. Dry, I asked medium heat and it was not. I was in a hotel and it was difficult to eat because they don’t package it in a normal box they put it in a soup container which made it difficult to eat and all of it was in layers. I wouldn’t go back

I’m all for supporting small businesses. This is a ghost kitchen they only do pickup out of another establishment or delivery on DoorDash. Which I was lost and stepped into this cute burger restaurant because the phone number on google isn’t accurate. I ordered tofu pad Thai and once I got back to my hotel I began to eat it then bite into something tough I then dumped the container into a bowl and to my surprise there’s chicken in the order. I then dumped the other one and same thing. There was no tofu in my tofu pad Thai. The number on DoorDash was different I called and no answer it sounded like someone picked up however it was a voicemail. This really disappointed me because I wanted to love this start up and wouldn’t have made a review if it was corrected but DoorDash couldn’t help contact the restaurant and only offered a credit when I would have preferred to just have my correct order. I think this restaurant has potential to be amazing if they one have a working phone number and clear instructions on how to pickup. The noodles I tasted before getting rid of the food was good very flavorful. If you order from here check your food prior to leaving because the other restaurant could possibly relay information.

Order of Pad Thai was missing flavor and spice. Thai is my favorite so I've had lots of Pad Thai dishes at many other restaurants. This one was by far a disappointment....

Gave us soggy weekend leftovers that they heated up in a microwave.

They say this place is open for dine in!!!! You tell me? Is it or not? No one has eaten here in months inside this place! Why advertise in the last five days it is? We just brought a party here to eat!!! Upsetting!

It can't. the owner is completely rediculous

I will first say that the crispy rolls were absolutely fantastic!! That said, My pad Thai was terribly over cooked (both the noodles and the pork), and my eggrolls were burnt — literally black on the ends.

I got chicken pad thai, and it was absolutely one of the most disgusting things i've tasted. It was burnt, dry and flavorless. It almost seems like whoever was cooking that night had never tasted Thai food before. What a scam.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I feel like I should share. I really enjoyed the downtown locations of Basil, but my experience here wasn't quite to par. I ordered red curry and it did not meet expectations. I wanted it very spicy, but it came totally mild and the rice was burnt and crunchy. I decided to give it another shot and order Panang curry off of Uber eats. They kept delaying my order before cancelling on me - at which point it was too late in the night to order anything else other than fast food. Such a bummer

The crispy chicken toast was not tasty. The bottom of the toast was soggy & top was hard & dry.

Very filling and delicious! Panang curry is a great way to start plus all the appetizers are yummy

A great selection with every single one of your thai needs, I had an amazing experience and I will be returning again soon. Ps. The eggrolls have me hooked!

A potentially very good addition to the neighborhood, Basil proved thoroughly disappointing on my first visit.Chicken Pad Thai was flavorless, with low-quality noodles overcooked and broken. (Beef (+$3!) and tofu versions are also on the menu. No pork or shrimp version was offered on the online menu.)Crab wontons were burnt, and the filling was flavorless and pasty. The biggest disappointment though, was the Tom Kha. I’d have been better off adding coconut milk to some dishwater and topping it with cilantro at home! The service is also bad. The restaurant opened 10 minutes late, and the counter person was quite rude to my friend as she picked up our order. If all this sounds harsh, bear in mind this place is not cheap: 2 orders of Pad Thai ($16.95 each), 1 order of crab wontons ($8.95), and a small (cup) of Tom Kha (with shrimp) ($10.95) totaled $56.49, including tax, but not gratuity.Bamboo Thai Kitchen and Nida’s Thai on High are MUCH better options not too far from Clintonville; each serves better quality food, with friendly staff.Note: Why do all or most of the 5* reviews have only one or two previous reviews? Avoid this place.

Ordered with my mother and We were both very pleased!! The crab wontons are amazing. I was told they were hand made every day and it shows! The green curry was very flavorful too.The service was quick and efficient. Glad to have a location so close to me in Clintonville.

Really good food, friendly service. They have a lot of interesting menu options beyond the standards and everything I've had there is really tasty. Yeah it's a little pricey but it's consistently good.
