Last time we went we waited over an hour to be seated from our original reservation time. This last time we ordered food to go and got it 35 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. We ordered soup and they didn’t have any so they gave us none even though we paid for it and they didn’t refund us. Horrible customer service experience.

Way over priced for the quality of food and small portions. Shrimp was low quality small shrimp that dint really have any flavor. In no sane world should it ever be acceptable to charge for fried rice at a hibachi resultant as this should just be standard. Our chef was amazing (other service in general was lacking) but in the end he is only as good as his ingredients. I have always wanted to try Benihana because of the name recognition, but it’s clear that is what you are paying for not the low quality food. Will never be returning.

First time service was slow and we were not checked on. Cook was new, so understand why he wasn't at 100%. But white rice comes out first. I had to ask, after all most all the food was made. Also thinking my steak was forgotten, last served everyone was done or almost done, cook cleaned up, no white rice. My family was done and when the server asked if she could get us anything else, I said my rice and a box No $ off the meal. I ate at home.

Not impressed. Food was mediocre and service was less than par. All my daughter wanted was steamed rice, and after the rest of the table got their food, she finally got her rice (i had asked 3 times for it at this point). We had a great experience at the Benihana in Fort Lauderdale. This was so disappointing, and would never go back to this location.

Walked in and was told 10 min wait for a bar top table when only one table was being used. Then after waiting 10 min they allowed others to sit in the bar and not us. After bringing this to their attention, we left. Hostess station staff was not friendly.

We booked a table for 12 two weeks in advance. We were squished into one table with no room. Meal took 2 hours. No refills. Very expensive! No lunch menu. Kids meals were $28. Do not plan to go back ever!
