First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank Bernard’s Tavern for welcoming us and allowing us to host our wedding party at your fantastic establishment. We had such a great time, and it was the perfect spot to celebrate such a special moment . A special and heartfelt shoutout goes to our incredible bartender, Breanna. She was absolutely amazing quick, efficient, and always one step ahead. She went above and beyond for our group, even handing out waters without us asking and making sure we had everything we needed all night long.Not only is she stunning, but her personality shines even brighter. Breanna made everyone feel welcome and cared for, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of us. Everyone in our party loved her!From Chicago to Ohio, we thank you so much, Breanna. If we’re ever back in town, you can count on us stopping by to see you again, girlie!

i've been here a few times since moving to Columbus, and every single time has been AMAZING. between the great drink selection, the very nice and prompt service (even during peak hours), and the INCREDIBLY underrated food, this place is one of the most dependable in the short north. quite possibly the most underrated smash burger in the 614.

I always have the BEST time at Bernard’s Tavern! The bartenders are super nice, fast, and always attentive—definitely some of the best in the city. The drinks are consistently good, and the energy is always on point. It’s packed every time I go, but the staff keeps everything running smoothly. Even security is solid and professional, which makes it feel like a fun and safe spot to go out. Highly recommend!

Rude management!!!!!!!!!!!! I waited 30 minutes for a drink just to be told she forgot about me . As I sat and observed her helping all her friends and buddies she didn’t not once Come back to help me . I asked what her name was, she said ,she’s the manager. This is her establishment!! I finally got helped from a girl with black curly hair (very unique nails ) I never got her name but I told her my server didn’t come back to help me and she apologize and immediately made my drinks . Whoever that young lady is ,Thank you for your service!!!!!!!!

I came into benards around 630pm and yesterday and it will be my last day . 1 the place is infested with gnats 2 me and 2 friends got helped by 2 different people and got 2 different prices. We all 3 orders a lemon drop. The bar back guy charged $7 and Jada charged me for the same lemon drop $10’. Their lemon drop had a sugar rim and she brought my lemon drop without a sugar rim . I asked if i could get the same one she said “ girl it’s too late for that “ I asked if she pour it in a different cup she said girl you should’ve been asked me . Lemon drops are supposed to have sugar rim . I shouldn’t have to ask for a sugar rim for a lemon drop . She was trying to rush to the dudes at the end of the bar ,she didn’t care to make my drink right and help me . This kind of service is disappointing. Lemon drops typically come with a sugar rim that shouldn’t be something I have to request. What’s more concerning is the lack of consistency, fairness, and respect from staff. The new management seems to lack the professionalism and customer care that Benard’s was once known for. It’s truly sad to see the decline in quality and atmosphere. . Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, and service should be consistent for everyone not based on who’s ordering

Solid across the board, and incredibly reasonable prices. In part because they're not trying to be anything they aren't. Amazing food, plastic silverware.
(Their magic pasta is on the menu as cajun, but its the same and shows up on the bill as magic pasta)
No regard for the neighborhood. It’s beyond loud. It’s too rowdy. I’ve stopped by for a drink, overall unclean and mid service. Lower your expectations and please go somewhere else.
