I come here a lot due to its proximity to my classes. The employees are usually receptive and nice. Sometimes they give you a bit of a flouride stare when you say something they don't expect. Unfortunately I recently had a terrible experience with an elder employee with white hair. I asked her for a an extra cup and was received with an annoyed look and a rude tone. She said she wasn't able to give me one due to a zero waste policy. I am not sure what ticked her off, but it could've been a bad day. She may have been raised on a farm amongst cows fed by them, and slept by the sheep at night. Personally I have worked as a barista and would never subject guests to my own bad mood. The food is not warmed and the brewed coffee is usually fine. I am not a fan of their lattes or cold brew. The matcha is good when they mix it fully. Cafe can be dirty but I understand the volume of customers is far higher than employees.

I never got my smoothie. I waited 30 minutes for them to call my name, and they never did, or if they did, they whispered it. There was no crowd or noise, so there's no excuse for not being audible. I moved closer to the counter after about ten minutes and I heard other names called, but they were so quiet you had to be standing two feet away from the counter to hear them, even without any crowd or other noise. I paid four dollars and waited 30 minutes for a smoothie and I never got it.

The guy at Cafe was very unfriendly, rude and unmannered. That employee yelled very badly at one of thecustomer when I was there. The customer had to use kiosk to buy food, Which he didn't realized. Instead of using kiosk he was trying to order at counter.

One of the main campus cafes at Ohio State. Open till 10 PM on weekdays. Very quick service even though it generally has a crowd. Bakery and salads are also available. You can skip the line with the Tapingo app.

As a student at OSU, Berry Cafe isn't my personal favourite of the campus cafes, but it's not terrible. It's very convenient for when you're studying at Thompson Library, though I wouldn't go out of my way to order an average coffee from here using my real money and not meal plan swipes. It also gets very busy around lunchtime (about a 7 to 10 minute wait in line to place your order) durning the Fall and Spring semester. Best bet is to order ahead using Tapingo if you're on a time crunch.
