Vibes: Super cool hotel bar. I thought it would be just a stupid lobby bar but it's really cool, overlooks the first floor lobby, is back-lit by the big windows, and has a little corner section where you can look out at the valet below.Staff: The bartender Gary was very nice and fun to talk to. The server came over to join in and it felt like we were just seeing friends at work.Food and drink: the long Island iced tea was good, and the food was bomb. They had a special going on gumbo (I know), it was actually really good and I was surprised a hotel lobby bar was able to deliver good gumbo.Definitely recommend if you're downtown. The staff was miles friendlier than any other bar I've been to in Columbus.

Atmosphere 5 Stars Food 4 Stars Service 1 Star (and that is being nice) Staying at the Hyatt for a huge Volleyball Tournament on MLK weekend. The hotel has to be near sold out if it isn't sold out. Sunday evening after my sons game we are tired and hungry and i decide we will just grab a bite in the hotel. The bar is hoping for a football game and all the tables in the bar area are full. We cleaned off a small area with counter seats at the windows. I walk up to the bar and ask if we need to order up there and the girl says "no someone will be with you." I ask for a menu and she says "Oh looks like we are out. They are all at tables." I wait a while and then ask a table of people that look like they are done with their meals if I can have a table and they say sure we are all done. Looking around, dirty dishes on peoples tables, menus on peoples tables and I see one poor kid running his butt off. Finally I go up again and ask the same girl (who looks like a manager) if I can order and she says "Oh he hasn't gotten your order yet?" "No and I would like to order please." She reluctantly takes my drink and food order and brings my sons soft drink and a table number for our order. 20 mins later I still have no drink. I'm pretty fussy by now. Looks like she may be a manager because she has a radio. Two other guys with radios and none of them really helping this one guy I see running around. Finally I ask a boy they found somewhere to come help and he comes back and says ok about "10 mins" WHAT? Are you kidding me? I wait 5 more mins and see the girl who took our order at the bar and go up. "Oh you didn't get your drink yet?" "NO!!" She says ok I will have them make it right now. I stood there and waited. Was it good? Sure. Was it worth waiting damn near a HALF-HOUR for?? NO!! Was it worth $16??? HELL NO!! It was on their drink menu. SALTED Caramel White Russian. Menu said Salted Rim. Did I get a salted rim? No. So then it wasn't a SALTED Caramel then was it? No. Ridiculous. After about an hour or so our food finally comes out and looks good. I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla. The menu says with Sour Cream and Salsa on the side. Does it come out with Sour Cream or Salsa? NO. Neither. I request the side of sour cream and Salsa. My son requests Honey Mustard for his Chicken Sandwich. After 5-10 mins Sour Cream and Honey Mustard show up. I said I asked for Salsa also. "Oh ok" Do you think I ever got the Salsa? No. Never. I gave up at that point. Now in all fairness, our food was really good. The cooks in the kitchen were doing their job. The servers were hustling. They were trying. They bartenders were trying. IF there was a Bar Manager that is who FAILED. It just looked like chickens with their heads cut off and no one helping them. No one stepped up to take control and keep things afloat. I took my bill up to the bar to pay as the server never came back and the poor kid was swamped. My bill was $53 for a Chicken Quesadilla, Chicken Sandwich with Fries. soft Drink and a White Russian. I was being kind and gave $7 tip as I wanted to leave zero since I served my self and the place was a train wreck. I would have given a 25% tip to the cook if I could. Do better Hyatt. Help your staff out. Seemed like managers just didn't care.

Worst service I've ever received. We sat for nearly 20mins and not a single waiter or bar staff came and greet us. Some people around us didn't get certain drinks that they had ordered previously. It was a hot disaster. I do not want to come back to this establishment.

Good atmosphere, food was alright but cold due to the poor service. Our server should consider another career. Asked about desert before dinner was ordered, brought the wrong beer, and we were told it was similar, "you'll like it," just poor service.

Great service, good food, great dessert, and good drinks. I ordered a margarita and it was very good. The salmon was well complimented with sauce and grilled asparagus. It was VERY slightly overdone as one edge was crispy but the rest was very good. The strawberry rhubarb crisp was very good and I confirmed it is Gluten free because they use almond flour. Overall very pleased I stayed in the hotel to eat which is unusual as normally there are better options around most hotels. Prices seemed to be better than many downtown hotels.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free,

Great place just to hang out. Try the pretzel bites with the jalapeño cheese. Amazing!

Lots of tasty food, good new drinks, wonderfully nice staff and attentive, and a great view wherever you sit.

The staff was absolutely lovely, but i can't recommend the food at all and when it comes to drinks I recommend sticking to beer or perhaps wine. Cocktails crazy overpriced and just barely ok. The staff was really great though! I would go back just for them.

Waitress was great.

Waiter was VERY hard to understand. A table of four of us ordered food. Two people got their food. While two of us didn’t. When we inquired the waiter got very rude. We waited 10 more minutes before it came. It wasn’t worth to be honest. It was edible but nothing spectacular. Our friends had already ate and had their bill. Very disappointing experience.

Honestly would give it zero. Food was terrible as well as service. I asked my waiter for water 3 times and never received. The waiter ignored my requests and even handed the check to my friend while turning his back to me.

Good food! Ordered chicken tenders and a chicken quesadilla quick while staying in the hotel. Chicken tenders are fantastic! The chicken quesadilla was great as well and big!

Terrible service. Had to go ask for a server to order, had to go up to bar twice for refills. Waited 2 hours for food that was probably never ordered. Waiter came to us 3 times to ask what kind of wings we ordered. Probably worst service I’ve ever had.

the only reason I am giving 3 stars is that once I did get my food, it was really good. That said, I sat down at a table all by myself, and they were only moderately busy, there were still quite a few empty tables, and not one server came by to offer me a menu. Several walked by. Finally I got up and went to the bar to ask if they could take my order (I'd looked at the menu online so I knew what to order) and he acted like I was bothering him but he did take it. Went back to my table to wait, and when my food was ready he just pushed the bag out at me like... "take it!". Was just weird and awkward. Took the food back to my room, and like I said it was really good.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus OH for a convention in December 2022. Length of wait was expected due to volume. Food was average. What was not expected was ordering a chicken quesadilla and a side salad which costed about $35 total, only to find out later that the tip was drastically changed by someone to over $170 -- terrible staff -- watch your card statements so you don't get swindled like I did
