Pizza took a major hit recently. It used to be awesome with fantastic crust. Now it tastes like bad cardboard.

I guess am lucky, so manny positive reviews so I went for the first time, just relocated to this area and my pizza tasted like cardboard. My 3 grandchildren had the first bite and we all agreed.

I ordered a crispy chicken salad last week online. When I went to pick up the order I noticed a lunch special for $5.99 for two slices of cheese pizza and a can of soda. I decided to order that, thinking the slices were readily available because I ordered at 12:00 noon. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait, which was fine because I thought the pizza would be hot fresh and delicious. The salad was horrible. The lettuce was fresh but the cheese was imitation and the olives bland. The worst part of the salad was freeze dried rehydrated tomatoes. Not sundried or roasted tomatoes--freeze dried. I've never had anything but fresh tomatoes on a salad so this was weird. I tried to eat a few bites but I was turned off. The pizza was not hot and I would have enjoyed a Chef Boyardee pizza kit pie better than this. The cheese was not melted appropriately. The sauce had no flavor and there was no seasoning whatsoever. I wasted money and my appetite on this food.

Pizza reminded me of a frozen pizza and the mozzarella sticks were not melted

Tried the white pizza and it was soooo good! I see them a lot due to my job and the drivers have all been so sweet and fantastic, and are generally pretty quick to deliver. 10/10 Would order again.

The pizza here is very economical and you will be able to tell in the flavor. Almost certainly frozen crust, sauce straight from the can with no seasoning, and the cheapest mozzarella available. It will probably last here since it's a more affordable option just down the way from Donato's, but if you're looking for quality, save your time and money. Seems like a one or two person show and the service was pretty non-existent. Be there in a sec and what can I get you. Nothing warm about it. I've had warmer service at pizza joints in NY and NJ. The offset entrance makes you feel like you aren't walking into the right restaurant.

Big Tony's Pizza and Pasta is never a disappointment! The pizza is slightly different but better. Always a go to and a place I recommend.

End of an era. Something has changed dramatically at Big Tony’s. The pizza I had tonight was terrible. It doesn’t even resemble what I have had here over the past eight years. It’s a completely different pizza. New owners perhaps?

I guess unfortunately all good things come to an end.

No napkins given. Attitude when I didnt get my drink for the lunch special. Lunch special is cheap $6.99 for two pepperoni slices and a 12 Fl of coke products. Pizza has a garlic crust extra cheese & not enough sauce. Thin crust does go crazy.

It’s possible this place is under new management for reasons that will seem obvious after you walk in and see who is running Big Tony’s. I have never eaten from here until a couple days ago though so wanted to give that disclaimer. I wanted to sit on the experience before reviewing.

First of all, fries were pretty good. There were a few that tasted like maybe they should have been left in the fryer for a little longer but overall no complaints. Second, my penne marinara was very good with good amount of melted cheese and a good portion. The last item was rather poorly made. The veggie subs I ordered were made to look more filled than they were by adding extra mayonnaise and reducing the amount of veggies inside. Every bite I took tasted mostly like bread and mayo. This appears to be a cost cutting measure which was very noticeable in both subs I ate. It’s not acceptable for the sub to be mostly bread and mayo…especially as a vegetarian, I was deprived of veggies that I desperately wanted more of…

Overall, pretty good. Being completely honest though, if you mess up fries and or marinara, penne, and melted cheese you kinda suck at being an Italian restaurant, so happy to report these guys do not suck. But, quality and measures reducing quantity in foods needs to be addressed to get 5 stars from me.

I don't know if this place is under new management or they changed how they are doing things. But this place went from my favorite place to now a disgusting mess. I've gotten multiple pies now with borderline excessive pepperoni. There was a grease pond in one. I love toppings but it was dripping out of the Box like a river. Last time I thought it was a one off bad day but today I asked for light toppings and it was still excessive. Your pizzas were perfect before guys. Go back to what you were doing 2 years ago.
