Billy Lee’s has become our family’s Friday tradition! Every week we come together here for good food, laughs, and quality time. The drinks are always on point – especially the lemon drops and mango cocktails, they’re our favorites! The atmosphere is welcoming and makes it the perfect spot for a family get-together. Highly recommend!

very pleasant dinner here! I ordered the Thai iced tea, wonton soup, and a dinner portion of general tsos. my bill plus tip was still less than $30! Very generous portions. My waiter was very attentive and even boxed up my leftovers for me. Nice quiet atmosphere! I will definitely be returning!

Ordered food for lunch at work and just choose the closest Chinese place I could find, and then I walked in to pick it up and was shocked at how nice the atmosphere inside was and then I ate my food (priced just Right) and knew I found my new Chinese place for sure. I’d drive probably 30 minutes to get this over another place, very impressed. Thank you

I've been eating Chinese food in Columbus for as long as I can remember. Billy lee's is one of the best in town. The restaurant is clean and nice the service was good and the food was great and tasted different than most. The hot and spicy wings were probably top 5! We will definitely be back.

I’m writing this with deep frustration and disappointment following a truly appalling experience at Billy Lee’s in Bexley. What was supposed to be a joyful outing with family quickly turned into one of the most embarrassing and disheartening moments we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.

Despite a lively and friendly atmosphere where nearly every table was enjoying conversation, we were singled out by the owner, Anne, and told we were “too loud.” Her tone, body language, and complete lack of professionalism were rude, aggressive, and downright disrespectful. It wasn’t just what was said—it was how it was said. Her approach was completely uncalled for and humiliating.

What makes this even more disturbing is that we watched this same behavior being directed disproportionately toward multiple Black patrons. It was clear, and painfully obvious, that this wasn’t about volume—it was about race. This wasn’t a one-off misstep; this was targeted, discriminatory treatment that no one should ever have to experience—especially in a place we’ve patronized and recommended to others for years.

Billy Lee’s just lost our business and the business of every friend and family member we’ve ever brought or referred here. I sincerely hope the owner reflects on this behavior and learns that respect, inclusion, and equality matter. Being white is not being right—and treating people with dignity should never be optional.

Do better, Billy Lee’s. This was beyond egregious.

You will find great flavors at Billy Lee’s. Too often I go to a Chinese restaurant and the food is bland, but not here. Hot and sour soup was excellent and so was the general tso’s chicken. Good deep flavor!

This restaurant use to have the best Sweet and Sour soup
I stopped and got a bowl today, and it tasted like straight vinegar and I could not eat it. I havent eaten there in a couple years and was so very disappointed . Are they under new mangement?
