I’m trying to leave a review without being super critical. I visited the location at the Columbus airport today at breakfast time around 9 AM. Of the breakfast sandwiches I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. I felt like the egg, meat and cheese part of the sandwich was only covering half of the croissant. It wasn’t of good quality that I would get at a Bob Evans restaurant. I’m trying to be constructive, but I feel like Bob Evans Express is not doing Bob Evans any favors by having this express location. Many people around me were complaining about their breakfast sandwich not being very good. And when I heard this, I was also feeling exactly like they were. I hope this review helps to have you see how maybe you might be able to do better. Dining at the airport is expensive and I didn’t walk away feeling good about what I ate. I was not happy at all. Thank you for listening.

All i can say is the sandwich tasted like it was a day old. When i told the lady that it was over cooked she said i will let my manager know. Bob evens corporate office is in Columbus really odd that they would not have a better handle on a restaurant this close.

$7 plus tax for the single worst egg sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Borderline unpalatable. Flavorless bacon, burnt overcooked sausage, preformed egg brick and some artificial smoke flavoring. I'd rather starve.

Dogfood in an unhygienic environment. Employee was mopping and wiping counters and then served my food directly with no gloves or hand washing including touching repeat use service utensils. Eggs were awful, biscuit was awful, bacon was awful, potatoes were awful.

Minimum 10 minute wait on an overpriced burger, so don’t go if in a hurry. They gave my food away to the wrong customer. Then, they remade my food (incorrectly) and dropped it all over the counter. Waited 20+ minutes, and ultimately got my money back. No french fries, only home breakfast fries.

Never going back. Waitress was nice but didn’t know anything when I asked about a Senior Menu Selection (they used to have one). When I went up to the cashier and commented that I missed the Senior Selection, he said “Oh, that’s right here, we just renamed it.” Then he offered to charge me the lesser price, okay. He didn’t know how. He got a Manager. He put it through - multiple times. I was thinking it might be the stupid internet things of the day, so I said to clear it all out and I would pay cash. Neither person knew how to do that! No knowledge. So now multiple incorrect charges are on my card. Nice but very incompetent people. I’m just not going back. Too frustrating.

I was so happy to see Bob Evans at CMH…but it didn’t last for long. I ordered a Wildfire Chicken Salad and the cashier pointed to a refrigerated case of self-pick items. What I got was a senior size salad with cold chicken. Terrible and costly!! Never again.

For an airport food outlet, it offers good value for a better-than-average breakfast compared to what you'll get at other airport options. Some nice extra touches, like power outlets at the bar in the dining area, and well-insulated coffee cups. Was open and serving made-to-order food at 5:15 AM on a Thursday. Adults can get kid portions on some items, which are actually pretty generous for a light breakfast, and affordable. Yes, it's in an airport, so, no, you shouldn't expect it to be just like your local Bob Evans -- when you take that into account, this place is under-rated.

Parking: No parking other than what's generally available at the airport

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is in a line with plenty of space, and not too high off the ground, once you get past a tight turn in the ordering line. The bar seating does not have a lowered area but tables should be accessible, thpugh it's a somewhat tight space in the on-site dining area.
