There was a staffing shortage that caused delays in getting coffee and water. The menu selection was poor. nothing dymanic to choose from. When the food finally came, two of us had avacodo, boring! deep fried bacon on avocado , really is that the best you can do. It was late getting to us, it was cold and it was nothing to bring me back to the Brass Eye.
Food, experience, atmosphere, drinks and service were all fantastic. We will definitely be back.
Love this place. Drinks specials are fun - the Watermelon Serrano Margarita was great with a nice kick. Halloumi Cheese & Fig appetizer was our favorite. We also got the artichoke app and loved it but it was a little too spicy for my friend. The smash burger is so good and is definitely my favorite - it got it last time also - it is totally craveable!! Service was great. Can't beat the views and atmosphere. Such a great spot.
Had a watermelon serrano margarita and my partner got a pineapple-infused aperol spritz which we both really enjoyed. However the food was fairly underwhelming for the price. Amazing spot for drinks and apps with a great view, but I wouldn't go for a full meal again.
What an amazing first experience! Such a trendy rooftop vibe in a super cool hotel! We started with two seasonal (one peach and one strawberry-rhubarb)cocktails which were delicious. We shared the halloumi and fig small plate as well as the fennel and grapefruit flatbread with a bottle of the Cabernet franc blend. The flavors were amazing and it was enough to satisfy but not too filling to have the butter bourbon cake...wow! Did I mention our server, Chelsea, was incredible. Her timing was perfect and she was engaging and very friendly. We can't wait to come back! The patio has fantastic views of downtown although we sat inside this visit because it was still quite warm.
We were so excited to dine here based on the menu, but were disappointed in the results. I recently traveled to Mexico where I ate a grilled peach and burratta salad daily. So I was so excited to see this on the menu! But the peaches were soggy rather than grilled, and there were only about 4 slices of peaches in the entire salad. My friend orded the skirt steak tacos, which were just ok. For $26.00, they were a disappointment. The atmosphere is great. But the food is expensive, and just ok. I don't think I would eat here again.
The views from patio are outstanding. Service was great. I got the shrimp gambi, and it was good once i took the peppers off. Those peppers were way too spicy for me! Hubby got the smash burger and said it was delicious. Thought the cocktail list would be more extensive, but the cocktails we got were very good.
The food was good but expensive for the portion. $25 for a small hamburger and fries. The ambience is nice for half the table that faces the city. The other side faces construction and an empty lot. It's also hot outside. The service was bad. They were friendly but not organized or attentive.
Great time with friends in the rooftop patio. One thing that would have made it perfect was a few fans to keep air moving. The ceiling fans just not enough when it's 90.
We had a birthday dinner. The staff was very accommodating. We started inside and once it cooled down the let us move to a patio table. Brass Eye is incredibly convenient and the valet parking is reasonable.

Excellent food and service. Glass of Pino Noir, Purple Haze cocktail-wife loved. Grilled Artichoke had very good flavor. Wife had pasta for main course, excellent. I had steak tacos. Also excellent. Dessert was butter cake and key lime pie with an espresso martini. Service fantastic. Matt's team is locked in! Would highly recommend. Great views of the city and sunset!
Booked a table on the terrace to celebrate my mom's retirement. Called during the day to confirm the reservation twice, couldn't reach the restaurant. Upon arriving, the terrace where my reservation was booked was occupied for a private event. Options were sitting inside or ordering from the bar and sitting on the back patio. Bartenders we interacted with were great, but obviously would not have booked here if I knew this would be the experience. 0 effort to make it right or apologize from the management. Minimally they could have let me know ahead of time the reservation wasn't available. Disappointed we chose this restaurant to celebrate such a big moment.
We were having a casual happy hour, drinks and snacks. Casual seating on the covered terrace. Staff and service were great. Food tasty, though several items on the small plates menu were out. Harder to find good sharing options.
Restaurant is beautiful. Server was friendly, but service was slow. 3 of the 4 meals came out well before the 4th. Very expensive for what you get. I guess you are paying for the view.
We arrived early for our reservation and got a nice table. That's about where the positives end. My husband ordered the Bloody Mary expecting what was advertised in the photos, unfortunately it was served with only a stick of celery - no frills. I'm not sure what you have to order to get what's in the website picture but that wasn't a menu option. We ordered a sandwich and the veggie hash with a side of bacon for our toddler and after 2 rounds of drinks - or server apologized that our food was taking so long - he comped my husbands drinks but not mine - 15 min after another announcement that it wouldn't be much longer, our food came cold. The hash was basically a scoop of cold potatoes on greens - there was one egg on top (cold) and a scoop of quinoa on the side - no avocado like described. A better description would have been a seasonal side salad. Extremely disappointed in the food and the wait - you can have bad food with decent service or slow service for good food - but this was a very disappointing experience. I'm surprised because we've been to the little west tavern before and thought it was amazing.
