Never got my smoothie. Went and talked to the staff and they said they are sorry and will make it right away. Then waited 30 more minutes to just walk out without it. How hard is it to make one smoothie?

Also, the burrito was dry as it could get. They need to learn about this one thing called “sauce”

Food is fine but the service is absolutely terrible. I placed my order at 8:30 and said it would be ready by 8:45. I waited in line for 45min. Zero apologies or even acknowledgement on how long I was standing there.
Meanwhile the workers were standing around joking while one of them prepped all the orders. A couple even came in 20min into my wait, ordered and were done eating before I even had my coffees.

Don’t go here if you want any semblance of quick or average service.

Edit: got home (we live less than 5min away) and the food was cold, soggy and incorrect. Nice!

This was our first time eating in at Brekkie Shack. I door dashed once, and it was so good I had to eat there in person. My son ordered the Brekkie of Champions. He loved everything. The sweet potato and Brussels sprouts hash was so good! We ordered the Loaded tots and the waffle bites. Both were so delicious, but the loaded tots were AH-MA-ZING!! We tried a couple of sweets and a pumpkin spice latte. The daily doughnut was also out of this world. Along with the food, the staff was fabulous! Everyone was so welcoming and you can really tell the owners love what they do and their customers! The place was hopping, but the staff seemed to not be phased and our food came out quickly and hot. The portions were large, so we definitely took leftovers home which made the prices really reasonable. We were celebrating my son's birthday, and it was great because it felt like we were on vacation. Parking was easy, there is a free garage right next door. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be hosting a mom's brunch sometime soon :)

PLEASE GO HERE! 10/10

My boyfriend and I went here to order takeout and now this will be our new spot! We both ordered the coastin burrito and it was AMAZING! We also got a cinnamon roll to split! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious and they have many options to choose from! Their baked goods are baked fresh and still very warm when we order! The staff is so friendly and helpful and seemed like they care a lot about their customers! Will be adding this to a list of places to go!

Terrible experience which sucks because this place used to be amazing.. As others have said I highly recommend reading the reddit post about their business.

Brought my boyfriend here on a Sunday morning because I had been hyping this place up for a bit since I'd been a couple years ago and had an amazing time.

First red flag is that the cups they use for the water are dirty.. and the tables are also gross. Not to mention the patio chairs make zero sense (way too high.) We got our drinks and those cups too, were dirty.

After we got our food we thought it looked great but it was terribly greasy and basically flavorless.. we both started to feel sick a few bites in and stopped eating. I left TATER TOTS. I'm a certified food fatty and would never leave tater tots behind but even those were making me sick.

Don't waste your money or time and read the reddit post first.

Went here for the first time with my partner a couple months ago and sat at the counter. We waited for 15 mins while a server behind the counter wasn’t helping any other customers and refused to look at us. Not sure if she was just high or if it’s because my partner is black or what, but she was literally feet away from us and refused to look at us even though we were clearly looking at her to understand what we needed to do to get service. This was late on a weekday morning and there were less than 10 customers in there, so it wasn’t an issue of it being busy. After 15 mins of sitting in there, a solo white customer sat at the counter, and another server who must have been in the back the whole time came out quickly and told him that he had to order his food at the counter by the entrance. She didn’t let us know this, but we heard what she said and went to that counter and she took our order. The food came out quickly and was good for the most part, I ordered the breakfast of champions with a coffee, but be warned: you have to ask for cream for your coffee and even crazier, they give you your toast dry if you don’t ask for butter or whatever, and they apparently don’t ask you if you want it when you order. I’ve never encountered a breakfast place that gives you dry toast! The 2nd time I went, the service was better and the person we ordered our food from asked if i wanted cream for my coffee and butter for my toast, and the food and service was good enough to come back. However, I went back today at 7:30am. They open at 7, but all the doors were locked, and even though I tried the doors multiple times and the staff in the kitchen saw me repeatedly, no one came to the door to explain why they weren’t open even though they were clearly cooking food. There are so many better breakfast places in the area that don’t have high or racist servers and are open during their operating and have better staff that actually acknowledge and give great service to their customers. I won’t be going back.

I've ignored the bad reviews about this place for a while and still continued to eat here, as my experiences were pretty good, until they weren't, and now I get it. They served me some funky food. It happens sometimes, not a huge deal. I reached out to them first, they ghosted me. I didn't want any money back, just them not to serve people spoiled food. I reached out again, because, what kind of business owner doesn't care if they are making patrons sick?! When they did respond, they basically said - they checked their logs, and nothing was wrong on their side. They suggested it may have been something I ate prior to my visit, you know that pre-breakfast meal.
Classic gaslighting.
It's obvious this place has serious problems with their leadership, (or lack there of). They've lost me and my crew as patrons.

I said I'd give em 30 days to show a proper Bloody Mary. Deadlines didn't accommodate. I don't like to bash or rate low unnecessarily l.. but... My first reaction walking in was.. there's a pressure washing contractor working 10 feet away with an unmuffled generator and the 12 foot garage door like opening was open. Aside from food safety and contamination with any breeze and airborne debris kicked up steps away from the majority of available seating within the facility, it presents a noise nuisance and potential trigger. For example a Marine Corps veteran with severe tinittus. I gracefully bowed out of my party and cautiously interrupted a enthralling conversation amongst staff to request the door to be shut. The food was what it was. However, the primary conniption I had was, Brekkie exudes, hip, vibes, brunch, and modern. With that the Bloody by admission and agreed of an unnamed staffer was vodka and tomato juice. No spice, no body, no bacon, no celery. The bathrooms and. Floor were also being washed as I tried to eat. I chatted with employees and asked about the syrup conspiracy from a reddit post. Sadly the Mrs. butterworths was in plain sight.

I’ve ordered from this place a few times over the last year and the quality has dropped, tremendously. I would not recommend eating here. The food the chef(s) allow(s) to leave that kitchen and deem edible is embarrassing. Take your money elsewhere. Also, the coffee is abhorrent. The gas station down the street has better tasting coffee.

Really wanted to like this place. We dined in yet they packaged our food to go. I asked for a plate to put my sons food on and the plate they gave me was dirty. I wiped it off. My order was wrong so they remade it. Waited 30 minutes only to find out they remade it and it was sitting on counter in a to go order. Once again we were dining in. My burrito was soggy and undercooked. I didnt even eat it. My son didn't eat his food either. 40 bucks down the drain. Very disappointed. I dont make many food reviews as I've worked in food service and get it but man this was bad and gross.

The service here is absolutely horrendous. The employees don’t pay attention to the orders that orders come in and other people get their drinks before your own order. Avoid this place like the plague. All the trendy BS with absolutely NONE of the service.

Edit: after reading other reviews about the low quality service and not so great food, I now understand why. They don’t train their quick hires. They will literally hire a person to come into “try out “for the job and then put them in an entire shift, chopping your food, preparing your food, etc.. And then when the shift is over, they tell that person that they don’t wanna hire them or that their “no more shifts “for them. getting free labor with no training. Despicable.

I’m not gonna comment on the food because that doesn’t matter when this restaurant “hires “people to come work, fulfill shift immediately, and then when the shift is over, they say they don’t have any more shifts. I’m stating this specifically because I know what’s happened more than once. Why interview someone, hire them, have them jump right in (no training) and fill shift and then say you don’t need them it sounds like they just were short staff that day and grab the first person who came along. But they didn’t pay them.

my friend and me had a terrible experience here over the weekend. I wish we had read the reddit post first.

I ordered a large iced latte and watched them pour cold brew in it, no espresso at all, and my cup was the same size as my friends, even tho I paid an extra dollar. I was told that the large is the same size, just less ice.

After reading the reddit post, Im not surprised at all about the experience we had. never ever going back. the owners care more about looks than quality

We usually order delivery when they have the buy one get one free on their breakfast sandwiches. It is a bit gooey for a breakfast sandwich but I think that’s what makes it taste so good. There’s just a bunch of sauce and they never have over cooked their eggs. 🥚
