Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Buca has really been improving in the last year! They went through a slump with food quality and service for a while but they're back! Our last 2 trips there were fantastic. Food was brought out quickly, delicious. The pizza is back to the way it was when they first opened. Drinks (we got sangria and old fashioned) were delicious. My husband loves the spicy shrimp and we all love the fried mozzarella. Service was excellent. Our server, Kiki was super nice and helpful. Downtown Columbus has grown a lot in the last 25 years and there are a lot of great restaurants, but Buca will always be special to my family.

Has really gone downhill. No draft, many menu items not available. The waitress kept saying the menu was new, and then would tell us items were no longer on it. Long delays for basic items like the meatball and spaghetti. The chicken limone had no flavor. They had one other party, but other than that did not appear to be busy. Many excuses, but no visit from a manager to apologize, just seems like no one cares about the customers. One person in our party as there for a business lunch and had the same waitress, so the excuse of a new menu was just that an excuse.

Was never offered a refill till I had a check in my hand. Server came to the table a total of 4 times in an almost 2 hour horrid experience. I waited almost 20 minutes after asking for a box. Waited 45 minutes after getting my food to ask for said box as waitress never came back to check. Mind you my wife and I were the only table besides one other and I saw at least 3 servers. Food was decent but I didn't even want to tip because my dog can server a better table. I generally don't write reviews but for the 150 buck meal this deserved a negative review. Not worth my money wish I never went. I get better service at McDonald's

We were forgotten about so we waited for 40 minutes before anyone came over but then our waitress went above and beyond

My husband and I were taken to the furthest corner in the restaurant from the door, when the place was pretty empty. Server only came by just a few time and didn't offer refills till after we finished our meal even though they were empty for some time. I don't like the fact that you have a “house bread” that is advertised no where, but have two bread options on the menu that are a steep price for the quality you get. I only know of the “house bread” now, because the table behind us ordered it, but that was after we had already ordered and received garlic bread for an outrageous amount. The Alfredo was the worst thing I have ever tasted, I have made better at home, not worth the price. Tiramisu was just ok, I have had better from the store, just tasted of rum, nothing else. Chicken parmigiana was the best thing we had. Will not go back.

There were only two of us. You need portions for 1-2 as well. This is very limiting. It's good but I will be reluctant to return

Only complaint would be that reservation were for 745 and did not get seated until 840 after checking in several times. Watched an entire lobby full of people get seated and never got seated until I asked a final time and there was nobody left in the lobby

It was our first time. Wow! Nate was so friendly and attentive. Great food. Great value. Great service. Great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Everything was Wonderful!!!! The greeting and check-in, timely seating, table, atmosphere/decor, service, menu choices, delicious food, cleanliness.

The salad was poor quality and didn't taste anything close to Caesar. Cheap wine. Pizza was okay.

Very quick and efficient service. Tyler our waiter was friendly and patient. The food was excellent.
