Dominic was exceptional! His expression in the specialties helped us choose our dishes after a brief indecisive moment! Every recommendation exceeded expectations and left us speechless. We will make sure to ask for him the next time we patron the establishment!

Beautiful, upscale, and very inviting restaurant. We ordered shrimp cocktail, Piedmontese Filet, Whipped Potatoes, chili broccoli and the Lamb. The steak was over the top amazing and cooked PERFECT. The lamb was also cooked perfect and incredible. I could have eaten the entire side of whipped potatoes myself as they were so yummy. We ordered cocktails at the bar before our dinner and service was excellent and drinks were good. Our service at dinner was excellent and I would rate it much higher than other restaurants in Columbus. It's a real experience to have dinner here. I highly recommend it.

The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. The staff went out of their way to honor our choice to stay sober, offering a thoughtful selection of non-alcoholic drinks—the “Shakerito” in particular was incredible. They also had an impressive range of gluten-free options, right down to gluten-free saltines. Every detail felt intentional and above and beyond. The wagyu flight was beautifully presented and absolutely lived up to the hype—rich, flavorful, and a total showstopper before dessert. Speaking of dessert... the cheesecake with pistachio crust should honestly come with a warning label—it was that good. They nailed it on every front.

Definitely on the pricey side for a night out. Beautifully decorated and a very attentive crew. Unfortunately, food is lagging behind. The steak and the mushrooms were underseasoned. Breads were ok. Dirty taters tasted great. Creme brulee crust was soggy. Their espresso was a crime against humanity; it tasted like diluted (bad) coffee.

Great atmosphere and vibe. The food was pretty good, steak was excellent. The service was good but we did have to remind our server of a couple of items that were missed. This is one of the cooler Cameron Mitchell restaurants I’ve visited but it did feel overpriced for the quality/overall experience. I’d recommend Veritas down the street considering the price point at Butcher & Rose. Would I go back? Of course, it’s lovely… but it didn’t feel unique beyond the aesthetic.

Great place. So beautiful. Amazing food. We really enjoyed our time. Jaime, our server, made it so special for us. We didn't have any issues finding metered parking really close by. They do have valet parking for a price, which we found out after we had already parked. The wine and drink list is insane. The drinks were so good. The chocolate cake we had for dessert was so rich and delicious.

Very elegant, drinks are phenomenal, really good appetizers. I have tried the burger and lamp chops, lamp chops by far are my fav in cbus so far.

Chelsea was our server and I can honestly say I have never had better service at any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. She was hilarious and described the food in a delightfully informative manner. I would eat anything Chelsea recommends, she’s awesome. The food was great, Chelsea was great, 10/10 would recommend.

A true gem with an elevated vibe—this steakhouse nails sophistication without feeling stuffy. The ambiance is sleek and well-balanced, with just the right touch of feng shui. Perfect for a classy happy hour or catching up with friends over great food and drinks.

I planned a birthday dinner here because I frequently heard good things about it. The restaurant is very nice inside, with everyone providing exceptional service. Parking was easier than I expected. A parking lot nearby gives a discount to Butcher and Rose customers. The restaurant's first floor is very lively, but I reserved a table on the second floor for more intimacy. The second floor is a lot quieter than the first. The menu was pretty typical of high-end steakhouses. There was a variety of steak with seafood options and some other dishes. The area where this restaurant shines is the cocktails, with the rose cocktail being delicious. I got wedge salad and wagyu carpaccio with crab as an addition to the appetizers. The wedge salad comes with green goddess dressing, which surprisingly worked very well. The carpaccio was also delicious, with the crab adding good flavor but also being delicious alone. I encountered a disappointing moment when I found plastic wrap in the carpaccio, which isn’t acceptable in a restaurant of this level, in my opinion. This is one reason I removed a star. The other reason is that the entrees were good, but nothing spectacular. I got the burger and beef Wellington with creamed spinach. My partner really enjoyed the meal, but to me it tasted like food I’ve had many times elsewhere. I received a complimentary slice of the chocolate cake, which was amazing. With numerous steakhouse options around, I probably will not return here. However, I recommend coming here to celebrate special occasions.

I have yet to have a negative experience here. Really outstanding, enough to say this may be my favorite new place in town!

The miso sea bass is phenomenal.
