I had mushroom pizza and pea barley soup. The lunch duo. We also had the buffalo cauliflower. Those were absolutely amazing.

it was my first time going there and the food was okay a little bit too spicy and the server got my friend's drink wrong and gave us the wrong salad but all in all it was a nice evening

Had dinner here after a long day of tourism. Bread and olive oil is their signature appetizer that comes with all dine in. We ordered Dynamite Shrimp as our appetizer, and the Braised Short Rib Ragu Pasta, Cedar Plank Salmon, and CPF’s Original BBQ Chicken Pizza as our entrées. The Dynamite Shrimp tasted a bit off at first; however, after a couple of bites and mixing in with the salad, our taste buds adjusted to the sriracha flavoured shrimp. The signature BBQ Chicken Pizza was good but if you fold it like a calzone, it’s perfected. The Braised Short Rib Ragu Pasta had that similar taste to traditional pastas from other restaurants. Also the noodles CPF uses for the pasta is similar to hand stretched noodles from another restaurant in Columbus. It’s probably Columbus’ most popular or signature pasta. Lastly, the Cedar Plank Salmon had the firewood styled serving with vegetables. At least the vegetables that came with the salmon made it less dry. The waitress was informative but I went here when the place was low on staff so getting attention seemed a bit much for the staff. The manager had to delay our reservation due to busy hour and low staff. All in all, CPF is a decent chain restaurant; although, what I enjoy most about CPF is that the food isn’t heavy. In total the meal was about $95 for a meal of three, but it doesn’t feel as heavy as most restaurants use with all the oil and butter for each dish. But don’t take my word for it. I suggest trying it once and see if this restaurant matches a quick lunch or dinner standard.

Dear reader, whomever you may be, however your life circumstances have led up to you reading this Google review, I want you to know that California Pizza Kitchen at Polaris has exactly what you're looking for in a restaurant and much, much more. A few words to summarize my guest experience: exemplary, superb, sublime, delightful, and life-altering.

I'm not simply talking about the food, although the immaculate design of The Original BBQ Chicken Pizza is enough to make your head spin upon a first bite, I'm also talking about the single factor that will make or break a restaurant experience for any guest: the service. My friends, California Pizza Kitchen at Polaris has the hardest working team of motivated servers that I have encountered in recent memory. First of all, I would like to highlight the hosting abilities of Jack, who found me a table in no time flat, and did so with a smile and an undeniable poise. Jack felt like more than a host, but my personal tour guide into the world of gourmet pizza, a world I found mysterious and exciting. Next, let's talk about Patrick, a server who upheld a level of professionalism in his duties that was never at odds with his warm and friendly disposition. Patrick instantly put me at ease every time he would visit my table, whether he was filling my water or recommending an item off the desert menu.

I am not a spiritual man, but I believe that the perimeters of this fine establishment may indeed qualify as holy ground, its very presence a gift to the surrounding shopping mall. From God? That I do not know. But I do know that I said a small prayer of gratitude as I exited the mall this day.

Thank you California Pizza Kitchen.

Service was unbearably slow despite the restaurant being completely empty. I love this place and it is one of my favorite pizza places to eat however this time was not a good experience. I never got a refill the entire time during my meal and the staff just sat around on their phones. It took awhile for us to get our bill and a box. I was very disappointed with our experience.

I’ve grown up loving California pizza kitchen. I haven’t had it in awhile until recently and was very unsatisfied with the food. The pizza used to be one of my favorites and was awful when having it recently. For the price of the pizza, it is not worth it with the portion size they give you! Very disappointed in the food and will not be in a hurry to be back anytime soon.

I walked in and ordered take out. I really wanted to give 5 out of 5 stars. The bbq chicken pizza was amazing taste wise. The size of the pizza compared to a small pizza at other pizza shops. I paid 18.99 for one large pizza and I was still hungry after eating 4 pieces of pizza. Service was amazing and the taste was amazing but too much money for not enough product. And yes I understand the prices are high but bigger pizza for that much money not worth going and spending all that money if I have to stop and get more food after that.
