This is an outstanding restaurant! Completely vegan with a great menu. Recently added chicken and waffles to the Sunday brunch menu and wish it was available every day! 😁 Definitely worth a try!
Barely made it before they closed on Monday night. Had a great meal and returned on Tuesday for lunch. The place is very clean and smells like fresh food. The soups are highly recommended.
I am begging everyone who's reading this to please please please avoid this God forsaken so called 🌱 restaurant at all cost! Go read ALL OF their 1 ⭐ reviews and complaints from customers who ALL are pretty much saying the same thing about the owner and his staff! ALL of them said they are very rude and unprofessional and lack great customer service skills! NOT one time has this so called business owner who's sooo ARROGANT THAT he probably thinks he's higher and better than God almighty himself, taken any accountability for his or his staff's bad behavior! Instead he threatens to go find them on their social media pages to hunt them down and let others know about "who they really are"! WHO in their right senses would post this type of unprofessional threat on a public platform for the entire world to see? Someone needs to report this NONESENSE to the BBB and even take this a step further! Everything can't be everyone else's fault and you and your staff are more perfect than Jesus Christ himself without any faults whatsoever, especially when most of them are voicing the same complaints! Get off your high 🐴 and stop thinking you're higher and better than God almighty himself just because you're a black business owner! Pride comes before a fall AND ALWAYS remember THIS: It's nice to be important BUT it's more important to be nice! Hopefully you got ALL OF that "you're royal highness"! NEXT! 👑🤔🤨😒👎🏾

This used to be one of my favorite places, but after my recent visit, I’m extremely disappointed.
Before going, I did what any normal person would do — I looked up the hours online and also checked the hours posted on their door. Both clearly state they close at 9:00 PM on Saturdays. I even called to place an order but was reminded they don’t take phone orders, only online (which makes modifying an order difficult). Since I had time, I decided to drive over, knowing I’d arrive no later than 8:30 PM.
When I got there, I waited in line, only to be told by the cashier (who was kind) that they were closed. Confused, I pointed out that both the door sign and Google say 9 PM, not 8:30. I asked to speak with a manager, and that’s when things went downhill.
The owner came out and was shockingly rude. No apology, no understanding, just arrogance. He insisted his personal website said 8:30 PM and acted like it was my fault for not checking it — even though most customers rely on Google, phone calls, or the hours posted on the door. He then said the restaurant technically stays open until 9, but only for people who want desserts. That makes absolutely no sense — people aren’t driving across town at 8:30 at night just for dessert. If the kitchen closes at 8:30, then the posted hours should reflect that. Either change the sign and online hours to say 8:30 PM or actually keep your doors open and fully operating until 9:00 PM. The current setup is misleading and unfair to customers.
To make matters worse, after I left and got in my car (again, I never threatened him or caused a scene), the owner came outside and took a video of my license plate. That was not only unprofessional but also unsettling.
It’s unfortunate, because I’ve always enjoyed the food here. But this experience showed me the owner does not value customers’ time or provide even basic customer service. Good food can only take a business so far if the owner treats people this way.
Me and My Wife went here for her birthday. The food was excellent. I became a one bite believer..

The food looked amazing. I wish I could have tried something. When I walked in someone was already waiting. The staff had seen him but ignored him. He just wanted a piece of cake. He left after a long wait. I waited 20 min before seeing any staff. This person also looked directly at me from the kitchen and ignored me. There were no other customers. I eventually left. Wish I hadn’t driven 30 minutes out of my way. I won’t be back.

Been to this place a few times and I live the interaction I had with the staff. It’s very comforting to know I can get some yummy food locally that just happens to vegan! I will be back soon!

The food is always fresh and delicious! Whether you're vegan or not, this place should become one of your staples because everything on the menu tastes amazing. Portions are great and despite how much food you eat, you don't feel crummy after. Beyond friendly service that rivals fine dining restaurants.
You must try the cheesesteak hoagie!!!

Was told to come try out the amazing food here so we decided to make the trip down. Cannot say anything negative at all about the experience. Food was amazing! I got the chik’n pasta and my husband got the Philly and fries. Food was made to order and very fresh. My pasta was so good that my husband raved about it the whole time there and after. Clayton is the owner and chef and was very personable with everyone ensuring their food and service was good. He took his time explaining things to us and it’s very obvious how passionate he is about his food. Before we left he insisted we try a sample of his soup and corn bread. WOW!! Definitey will be back for more!
The food is absolutely amazing. 10/10 a must-try!
Being unable to have gluten, dairy, meat and eggs due to health issues going out to eat is not fun! Then, I found Can’t Believe It’s Vegan! I feel so fortunate to have a place that I know I can order anything from the menu and be safe. Not only do I now have options, I have delicious food to choose from. Everything I have eaten-kabobs, not chicken salad, lettuce wraps and three desserts were all amazing. Even my non vegan friend said it was some of the most delicious food she has eaten! Thank you Chef Clayton for providing this option!
On our way from Dayton to Akron, we stopped here for lunch; it was a great decision! Not only was the food good, but the owner was extremely friendly. We started by sharing a cup of the soup-of-the-day, which was mushroom-green bean; all of his soups come with a side of delicious, moist cornbread. We each ordered the BLT, and it was as close to the non-vegan version as I have ever tasted; and the fries were good also. For dessert, we shared a brownie that was, as the owner emphasized, was not short of nuts, and was moist and tasty. Definitely worth going back to again, and again. As the name says, you "Can't Believe It's Vegan."
