Can't Believe It's Vegan

Well yall have done it again! My wife brought back some crab cakes to Cincinnati and a bunch of other greatness! I’ve only had the crab cakes and they were soooooo good! Off the chain! We will be back soon!

The owner is so full of joy and the staff and location are just so welcoming. The food is delicious and lovingly made. Did I mention they have a great brunch on Sundays? =D I just can't say enough...I definitely recommend visiting!

Really delicious vegan food! As a vegetarian, I can’t even put into words the joy I experience knowing that I can order anything and everything on the menu without having to make any modifications. I suggest following their instagram so you can double check the hours before stopping by. As a small, family-run business, sometimes life gets in the way, but they always post updates so you won’t be unaware of a surprise closure. But seriously, the food is awesome and I am walking out the door to go get myself a BLT right now because I’ve been craving it for the past 2 weeks!

Amazing food and great service. This is our go-to when we’re in north Columbus now. Their wings are to die for but the mac n cheese is my favorite for sure. Only thing we’re not fans of is how loud the tables&chairs are when moved, and how echoey the dining room is, but that’s pretty minor when the food, chef, and staff are so great

I've eaten at a lot of vegan restaurants.This is in my top 3 (if not #1). Also, the best damn bathroom in all of Columbus.

Excellent middle ground between comfort food and health food, and a good place to take those who are vegan-suspicious. They will be converted.

Philly was incredible and proprietor very friendly, asked more than once if I needed anything else and if so holler back to husband in kitchen as she was decorating outside for the holidays.

Very friendly and clean the food is amazing will go back they even have desserts 😋

A great find! Although we are not vegan, we sometimes order vegan or vegetarian fare because it's often more interesting and prepared with more care and better ingredients. This little restaurant offers exactly that. The atmosphere is austere, but clean and pleasant. The food was excellent! If the tomato soup is still on the menu, by all means order it - one of the best soups ever. We had the BLT with sweet potato fries and the angel hair pasta, all really good. Seasoning was spot-on and serving size was very generous. Highly recommended! We'll go back, despite the half-hour drive.

I dined inside this place once and observed the owner greeting other patron's at their table but avoided mine. However, his staff was available if I got up and went to the register for utensils or napkins that were not included when my meal was brought to me. The second time I patronized this establishment I ordered my meal to-go and was given great service but the staff at the register charged me extra for a premium side when, at the time, there wasn't anything that stated that a different side would be a $3 up-charge for less than an ounce of macaroni and cheese in a clear condiment cup. I was offered fries to make up for the omission but I did not want fries. I felt bad for the staff worker because he did not know that he didn't properly cancel part of the order and caused the owner to make another meal and he was chewed out for it which was uncomfortable to watch. I tried to return two times after that in which the owner saw me, did not greet me, went to the back and never came to the counter after waiting over 10 minutes to be served. I tried the spicy sausage which was a bit on the dry side but had potential and I cannot remember the other dish I tried. I didn't find anything particularly tasty and planned to return to try to find an option on the menu that I liked since they have an extensive menu. The fries tasted like seasoned fries but it did not come together cohesively and was a little bit dry. I wouldn't consider this a healthy vegan place -- if you want healthy options Portia's Cafe is a great place. If you want similarly priced American style vegan food that is consistent in flavor you could check out Vida's Plant Based Butcher, 4th and State, Loving Hut and Woodhouse Vegan to name a few. Some of the restaurants I named have lower prices than what you will find here. Although not fully vegan but deserves honorable mention for their very flavorful high quality vegan/vegetarian dishes - SOW Plated. Hope this helps. Happy healthy eating with consistent service! :)

My wife and I stopped here for the first time tonight. We've been vegan for a couple years now and cant believe it took us so long to get here. The food was amazing and the staff are equally as amazing. The chefs love for food and vegan cooking reflects in each dish t h we serve. We will definitely be back!

Legit my third time coming here and it never opens or closes on time. The sign said 8pm and it 6:64pm and guess what there close.. again

My husband and I stopped in here on a whim and I’m glad we did. The BLT tasted amazing. Best vegan bacon ever!
