Cap City Fine Diner and Bar

Had a great lunch at Cap City Diner in Grandview. I made a reservation. The waiter was great. Always kept my soda filled and was truly responsive and helpful all the way through lunch. The restaurant was a bit loud. It was very busy. Definitely will go back in the future.

Cap city is one of our favorite restaurants. In the last week we have visited Cap city in Grandview and at Bridge Park. We were sad to see that they removed two items from the menu that we loved, flatbread,pizza, and southern fried chicken. The food Was mediocre, not at the same standard that we experience in the past at Cap city. The mashed potatoes were hard, french fries were not cooked fully and the Romano chicken was not worthy of this great restaurant. Overall, while this is one of our favorite restaurants, we will not be back. For the record, we never complain, but I thought in this case you should know. 

We had to wait about 25 minutes past our reservation time. The place was very busy and our server had many tables which prevented some timeliness on refills of drinks and other request but very friendly staff and the food was outstanding.

Our waiter was fantastic! There was a bit of a wait for the reservation but not a big deal.

Good food and table service. They were very busy - we were sat a half hour late at an inside table even though our reservation was for the patio. The host team could have done a better job of proactively communicating about our delay and offering alternatives. Otherwise we had a nice time.

Sat on patio was great balsamic chicken always tasty- friend had club sandwich big enough for 2 Will split next time Waitress was great thank you

Have been to Cap City and number of times and food is always very good. Our server, Nick, was very friendly and attentive and offered good suggestions. Will return soon.

The food was surprisingly terrible. The meatloaf was dry and tasted as if it was a day old.

Great meal and service. We had not been to this location in awhile and it was so great that we will definitely be back!

Amazing birthday dinner. Andy was incredible! Made our dinner special. Food was delicious as it always is. Still one of the best places to eat in Columbus!!!

The meatloaf was great as usual and this was the first time trying the chocolate cake. Both were awesome choices.

Our server, Alex, was wonderful. Attentive and gave us free desserts for our birthdays and anniversary! Food was delicious and came out hot. We had a great time!

Ask for Austin as your server, truly a wonderful experience due to his hospitality.

Cap City never disappoints... Always good good and service!

Great place. Highly recommend. Service is exceptional. Very conscious of allergens especially gluten. Highly recommend any of Cameron Mitchell restaurants.
