The Quesabirrias are 10/10. I come here just for that because I haven’t have anything this good anywhere in Columbus. I am Latina and I can tell you their food it’s amazing! I didn’t give this place 5 start because sometimes can be a little hot in there and the place needs maybe some renovation in some aspect. Besides that food and service pretty good.
It was my first time going to Casa Hacienda. I wasn't sure what to order so I tried to ask the two servers at the front counter what was a good meal and I got blank stares and confusion. I was hopeful they would have some Bueno authentic Mexican food. Since I never got a recommendation I ordered a Chicken Quesidilla (I figured it was a safe option). But it was disappointing (undercooked, bland flavor and texture). I ate two pieces and discarded the rest. Maybe next time I will brush up on my Español before ordering.
Warning to others: beware of the sneaky tipping policy at Casa hacienda .I left a cash tip and still had an auto-gratuity added to my card. I let it slide the first time, but it's happened again - seems like a pattern. Double-check your receipt, folks! Not impressed with the service either. Be cautious of extra charges.
Great food, family atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
First time coming here. Food was good, nothing really amazing, but good for the price and portion size. Our waitress never once asked to refill our drinks, only came by to collect empty plates. Again, not bad, but overall pretty mid and service was friendly but a bit lacking.
I love their horchata... Not a big fan of their food though.
Delicious foods 😋
Service was good. Food was bland and the piña colada didn’t have any flavor. It’s a pricey place not really worth it. Also we weren’t notified that there was going to be gratuity on our bill. On the menu, It says 6 and more gratuity is added, and we were a table of 5. Their explanation was that after you reach almost $200 they add gratuity. (our bill was about 185 $) They should at least notify the customers.
Food was adequate, not spectacular. Many local restaurants give you bottomless free chips, they do not. A quick note on atmosphere: in the ladies room, there is an interesting decoration in the handicapped stall. The space between the toilet tank and wall is filled in with cheese and refried beans. Really disgusting, and completely off putting. As soon as I saw that, it sort of turned me against ever returning there.
Eating Mexican food in Ohio can be like ordering a milk shake in Death Valley - you just never know what to expect. Casa Hacienda actually delivered a decent meal. I was pleasantly surprised. Someone knows what they're doing!
Restaurantji Recommends
This place is really expensive but it was for the most part good food. They really try to make it an athinic experience
Great food, fast with cold beer
I love this restaurant. I’ve been a loyal patron since their first location on 161. The portions are large and priced very reasonably. The customer service and wait staff are excellent. This has been a birthday celebration spot for a lot of members of my family for years. It’s become a tradition. I will say, I miss their homemade tortillas, they were delicious!
We usually get take out. Great service, fantastic food!
I’ve been coming to Casa Hacienda since it first opened on 161, I was probably in Middle School maybe younger and I continue visiting after they moved to this location on Hamilton Rd. The food here is always great, and the service is consistently excellent. I always bring and invite my family and friends here whenever they visit from out of town because I know they’ll enjoy it just as much as I do. Highly recommend!
