This location is decent but nothing I'd go out of my way for or recommend. The service is pretty lackluster, but that's to be expected for most campus area fast food joints. The employee who took my order didn't bother with eye contact or taking out her AirPods. The food is okay. Served warm but very lacking in flavor and salt. Lots of seating. It's not all clean, but there are lots of other places to sit if you come across an uncleaned spot. I got a large this time for leftovers, but a small is filling enough for me. Unlike other sub locations, they put their sandwiches in a styrofoam box rather than a wrapper.

I ate a delicious mid-afternoon meal yesterday [2-13-2023] at Charleys Philly Steaks at 1980 N. High St. in the "University District" neighborhood of Columbus.My food choice for yesterday had been a "Steak Philly Cheesesteak" and a "Regular Original Fries."I remember a restaurant named "Charley's Steakery" -- perhaps at that same exact location -- many years ago -- while I had worked at the former Long's Book Store at 1836 N. High St.The building where Charleys Philly Steaks is located had been built as a movie theater in 1947 and features a bas relief depiction of OSU football legend Chic Harley permanently installed on the outside wall. That movie theater has been converted since then to two side-by-side businesses.If you are looking for a delicious "Philly Chesesteak" or other similar items, I recommend Charleys Philly Steaks.

First of all the cashier Ali. Was very rude. Which made the taste in my mouth bad. So bad I couldn't finish my sandwich. I paid $27. For two sandwiches and fries. The service was awful. Never going there again. I would like a refund. So, disappointed.

I got food from this location about a week ago and was afflicted with the WORST FOOD POISONING I have EVER experienced in my life! I ended up in the ER TWICE BECAUSE OF THIS! Do NOT go to this location on N High St and 17th. I am still suffering from the symptoms a week later. I ordered the classic cheese steak sandwich! The only reason it's getting 1 star is so I can leave this review...

The sub presentation was not as expected. The meat and cheese (which is all I got on my sandwich) was half off the bun. I was the only customer in the restaurant so no reason it should've been like that. It did taste good and the gentleman taking orders was very friendly. I would return to this Charleys.Parking: Had to drive around but at that time of day, around 12:50pm, the street parking was readily available.
