Just had a $467 order delivered to our office for a corporate team meeting/lunch. $68.99 tip was given at time of order last week. Order arrived by driver who spoke zero English. Order was delivered with no plates, no napkins, no eating utensils, or serving utensils. They were on the order (see pic). And of course we couldn't communicate this with the driver because he couldn't understand us. We had no way to eat the food that was just delivered. We had to have somebody run out to the store to pick up what we needed so we could eat it. Food was good (that's why I gave it two stars), but cold because of the delay to eat it. Extremely disappointing. This was our first bad experience with City BBQ. Usually they are on their game.
*Update 6/11 - You sent me a link to fill out a form. So more work for me to do? Besides having to run out to the store to buy the stuff you forgot to bring, then taking the time to type the review, your response is to send me a link to a form to fill out instead of just calling or emailing me? You have all my contact information on the order. Yeah I won't be filling out a form. At some point you guys will have to pick up the ball for your mistake. I can't do everything.

I’ve been a loyal city BBQ fan for 20 years. My last visit left me heartbroken that my favorite fresh cut fries were replaced with frozen ones. The manager was nice and explained that in this world of food delivery and take out, cold, soggy fries were their number one complaint. These fries were crispy, I will give them that, but far inferior to fresh cut in flavor. Thankfully, she offered me something else to replace it. I guess city bbq owns a freezer now. ?

We are visiting from out of town and met Tyler, the Manager, over the weekend. We wanted to support his business and it didn’t disappoint! The smoked turkey breast is a sleeper and you should definitely try it! And it’s not a bbq joint without a side of hush puppies and corn bread pudding both of which are incredible. Even with a vegetarian in the party the plethora of side options makes this place fantastic for everyone. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

We had a 3 meat platter at 8pm. Chicken was like sawdust, brisket was shoe leather, pork was dry but best of the three. Baked beans were good. It has been a while since we were here and will be a while again.

Friendly staff, good selection to choose from. I havent had anything bad here, and it's nice they redid the outside and inside since it is the first City BBQ location ever. I recommend the turkey breast, pulled pork, sausage, collard greens, and baked beans!
