Fyi this place is not wheelchair accessible. Only steps going up into it. No ramp when asked
The Caesar Salad needs some work, but the flatbreads are delicious and the service is great. Excellent tomato bisque as well.

Stopped in the City Tavern one evening and sat at the bar. I ordered a few shots and the French kiss me cocktail and it was delicious. The sauced wings (buffalo) were ok, but the plain wings was tasteless. I ordered the corn beef rueben and expected it to be sliced on the sandwich but instead it was more like pot roast consistency. So it kind of through me off. Overall the bar had good atmosphere and I would go again, but would order something different to eat.

I work down the street and have co-workers that come here often. This is the first time I took a friend out and was disappointed with their lack of transparency. First, they charged me $1 more for cheese on a $15 veggie burger (mkay) and then charged a credit card fee without telling me before hand (when she saw my credit card) that there would be a credit card fee. I'm sure management will reply with all the places I missed all the extra "baggage fees," but the fact that I didn't see it until after the bill came means it wasn't obvious. I hope the extra $2.55 you got from me today was worth it; I'll be going elsewhere for lunch.

First time there. The food was amazing.
Vibes are great, good amount of seating. Big bar, plenty of tables. Lots of TVs for any game you want. Service is fantastic. Food is solid, good options available. Free parking is the cherry on top. Definitely recommend for a casual night out

The City Tavern is in the "Wonder Bread" factory building on 4th St and Lincoln Avenue. We always drove past on my way to somewhere else. This year, we decided to try it out and found it a great place. It has an industrial vibe, and all the tables are high-tops. The space is open and airy, and they have free off-street parking just to the south.
We have now been to the City Tavern thrice and were pleased with the food and the service each time. We have had the Shredded Corn Beef Rubin, Tavern Quesadilla, and the Tri-City French Dip. All of the things we have eaten there have been fabulous. We go through the week when they are steady but not slammed the service has been superb, and the staff is attentive

Paid $14.50 for a 6 inch “sub”
Call back to tell them it was my first time ordering there and I didn’t understand why the sale was so small so I asked to exchange it for something different and they couldn’t even make that order correct.
Wouldn’t recommend the bison burger either.

Had a Doordash delivery food was hot & taste was good. I should of put chicken on my apple pecan salad ? didn't realize I needed a little extra something on it. But for that price on salad should not have to pay extra for meat.
