Draft selection subpar and not printed like cocktails - you have to go to the crowded bar multiple times to get any food or drink (yet there may be alot of employees wandering around who are very nice but chomping at the bit to grab your plates).

The seasoning was not in the room with us for the seasoned fries, but the texture was on point - had great cronch.

The noodles were just not very good. Vegerarian options don't add any vegetables, they just take away the meat that I assume held all of tbe plates' character. What you're left with is eating drunken noodles in a gelatinously thick soy and that's about it. It did have a hint of ginger but was largely just plain soy taste.

I'd say come here if you just want the bar side and a small draft selection but maybe cocktails which I did not try but looked good.

Listen, Cobra is PHENOMENAL. I recommend EVERYBODY to here. I’m a server myself at Whitney House & I cannot express how many times I have introduced all of my customers to Cobra just based off when they want a cafe martini. HANDS DOWN the BEST SERVICE, FRIENDLY, & no matter who makes your drinks, ALWAYS taste the same. I literally cannot get enough of their dumpling & they’re late night bite so they offer so much more! The bartenders are so happy & friendly as well as ALL of the staff. COBRA IS 100/10 & I very much recommend.

Me and a friend came in on a Monday in late December shortly after they opened at 4 PM. Holy cow! A lot of businesses downtown do not even open on Mondays because it’s so slow, but this place filled up fast. By early dinner time, every table was full, and it was crowded at the bar. It’s totally worth it to come in here during happy hour though. The deals are fantastic.

We loved the Dan Dan noodles, and the potstickers were great too. My friend really liked the pork ones and I really like the sweet potato ones. The potsticker sauce was so good, that I saved it to also dunk my Dan Dan noodles in. We tried several cocktails off of happy hour and they were all really good. I enjoyed the Negroni the most. $4 beers during happy hour (half price) was also a steal. You order all of your drinks and food at the bar and then a server will bring the food to your table. There’s a big parking lot attached to the building as well. There were people of all ages and group sizes. It seems like a very popular spot and I will definitely be back to try more dishes and enjoy happy hour again.

Don’t come here unless you want your car towed! I came here for a meal and a haircut nearby, and when I came back to the parking lot I returned to my car halfway in the air. Food is not worth the extra hundred dollars they demand for the apparent privilege of parking here.

Upscale bar. Open late. Lots of vegan options. Good mocktails Updated from previous review on 2025-12-28

This is a bar kitchen with a fun vibe in the German Village area. Walking distance to the book loft. There are two as-is vegan options on the menu, but multiple dishes that can be made vegan. The sweet potato dumplings were my absolute favorite, and they were in a homemade chili oil that was incredible. The Fly's Head noodle dish had great flavor but is pretty spicy. The Off the Waldorf salad was a nice refreshing dish that went well with the spicy noodles, but on its own I don't think it had enough flavor. I will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

Definitely love the vibe and food and drinks. the service is great on a good day.. but a little condescending and rushed on a bad day. it happens at busy bars, but when you’re serving someone and assuming they don’t know what they’re talking about it can rub someone the wrong way. not deterring me from coming since that just adds to the camaraderie of the night, but just worth mentioning. the dumplings are TO DIE FOR. and boilermakers are a 10/10 deal!!!!! worth the visit

I love Cobra. but why the light up bar of liquor when everything is pre batched? i asked the bartender which of the cocktail list was pre batched and he was irritated and said everything was 😭 I wanted an old fashioned that wasn’t pre batched and literally got side eye. So we went to antiques on high and somehow got better service and attitude, which to be honest, i’d never expect. I still love your dumplings and think that Cobra should work on their cocktail menu and weekend rush management. it’s a total mess right now. xoxo

This is our favorite place to eat! We have been following them since they were a pop up. They’ve only gotten better since getting their own space. The food, service, vibes and music are unparalleled. The person who makes the playlist deserves a medal. Highly recommend cans will come here for years to come!

I visited this establishment last night and had a very disappointing experience. I brought my service dog, who is trained to assist with my disability and is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Unfortunately, when I was about to order, a staff member demanded that I leave, despite my attempts to explain the legal protection of my dog. The situation escalated when the owner confronted me aggressively, raising his voice and questioning the legitimacy of my service dog. This behavior was unprofessional and deeply troubling, reflecting a lack of inclusivity and understanding of the law.

I left without further conflict, but I believe it’s important for potential patrons to be aware of how this establishment treats individuals with disabilities. I will also be reporting this incident to the Department of Justice to ensure that proper action is taken.
