One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. We ordered our drinks, food, and appetizers together and nothing showed up for 45 mins. As we were getting up to leave, our appetizers showed up. We ate those and still no drinks. We finally asked for our check to pay for the appetizers and left. The server included the drinks we never received on the check and we had to ask for them to be removed. Still no drinks at almost the 1 hour mark. We saw several other tables with the same experience which got up and left as well. The check in process was a disaster as well. They had a line of people out the door checking in for reservations and it was taking them 3-5 mins to check in each one. This place has completely fallen apart. Avoid at all cost. Such as shame, as it used to be decent place to dine.

Terrible service experience! Our server did not return to our table after taking our orders until we were almost finished with our meals, after finishing our meals we waited for 15 minutes before asking another employee if they could find our server because we were ready for our checks. When our server finally came to the table we asked for our checks and told him that we had tickets to a show that we needed to get to. We watched him walk over to a computer station but instead of returning to our table with our checks...he goes over to the bar and gets dirty glassware to take into the kitchen. After waiting for more than 10 minutes without him coming back with our checks we ended up going to the host stand and had them print our checks and take our payment.

Where do I start. Went to this location a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Good drinks good food and really good service. This time however not so much. Took my mother in law and wife out for lunch to celebrate my in laws birthday. We go in and order drinks. I order the up in smoke cocktail that's advertised with smoke coming out of the glass as a smoke infused drink. No smoke or smoke flavor whatsoever. We order and my mother in law get a Caesar salad takes a few bites and pulls out a long nasty hair. We call over the waitress she takes the salad and out comes the manager. She gave us the most insincere apology and attitude. She wouldn't even lift her head up as we walked out the door. Totally unacceptable behavior from management of a so called high end restaurant like Mitchell's. Even though my first experience here was extremely good. This time sealed it for me. I will never eat here again.

Columbus Fish Market used to be my favorite restaurant when I worked nearby several years ago. I ate there multiple times a week and the food and value was consistently excellent. On this visit, the experience was very different. Out of the five of us, only one person even moderately liked her meal. The rest of us thought our meals were simply not good, nor a good value. Heartbroken that things have gone downhill so much.

Staff was very attentive and plugged in. This was for a birthday and they did nice job making the birthday guest feel special.

The outside of this place looked promising. However the food was underwhelming. My wine (red) was poured into a glass by our waiter. The waiter noticed it was a dirty glass before I did which was good! However, he then went to another adjacent room with preset wine glasses for an event the next night and grabbed another wine glass, transferred my wine to the new glass and it bubbled! Soap suds? I've never seen this happen before and I'm 65. I did not speak up, my fault!!! And yes, it tasted weird. I pushed the glass aside and ordered a beer when the waiter returned. I did not say anything (again my fault). We were on a road trip and Columbus was our overnight stop along the way. Needless to say we won't be back or would we recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

Only downside was I had a reservation and the hostess wanted to sit us at a table right by hostess stand/front door. I asked if we could be seated somewhere a little less seen and not so busy. She stated that case, it might be a 20-30 minute wait. My husband than asked if we could sit in next area where there were two booths open with one booth occupied. She shrugged and proceeded to seat us there. It didn't appear to be a very busy evening and plenty of servers. I did indicate we were celebrating a birthday, but nothing was ever mentioned.

Overall we enjoyed our visit. I had the pasta with shrimp and crabmeat. The shrimp were tough and there was very little crabmeat. The service was excellent and the drinks were good :).

There was a very unpleasant smell when walking in. Service was fine but the food was mediocre. The salads were excellent but that's where it stopped. Almost everything on the fried platters was extremely overcooked. They brought one diner the wrong meal - hurried to fix his meal and the grilled salmon was almost raw.

I had the stuffed cod and lobster bisque soup and it was delicious! We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and were seated right away. We were the only customers at first but it was filling up when we left. There were 7 of us and we all liked our food.

We had not been to the Fish Market in a really long time. We miss the days it was owned by Cameron Mitchell.

Thought the dinner was just average. Didn't realize until arrival it was no longer part of Mitchell's and is now part of Landry's. Wine was served with a dirty wine glass. Service just average.

Restaurant week menu was not as advertised on web. And the substitutions were not as good as advertised. Waitress was not friendly and laid down the check without making eye contact.
